So I'm moving to Belgrade from Glasgow, got an IT job there. I was there already a couple of times and love it. The question I have is, in what part of the city would be the best to find an apartment? Thanks.

Well it depends on what you like. Autokomanda is pretty cool because most of the embasies are there and because of that you don't have that many cops there to give you shit if you like smoking joints outside.
Also would suggest anywhere near Tasmajdan.
I am genuinely interested in what's your motivation for that.
So far, I've only met people who'd be willing to do more or less anything to do the exact opposite.
Would you mind sharing a bit, OP?
I don't have any advice, I just wanted to say I'm extremely jealous. I love Belgrade and pretty much anywhere in serbia.

Not op but I lived in serbia for a month. Coming from canada. Living as a westerner in serbia is amazing. Life is so cheap, so one can live quite well off of 1000$ a month. The culture and people are far better than in Canada as well. Real genuine people, no fake social norms. And the food. Serbian cuisine is out of this world.

This is an American who lives in Serbia and loves it (probably too much):

Sarajevo is probably less of a dump than glasgow. Fewer domestic incidents as well i imagine.

Money, I would presume.
