Is Westchester county worth moving to? i have family there and

Sure, it's definitely better than SC (bar Charleston). You can take Metro-North into the city. Also can take high(ish) speed trains to anywhere in the NEC from NYC, New Rochelle, or Yonkers.

Westchester's really nice and I'd hate to move away from here. It's expensive though, so only come here if you can afford it or have family to stay with.

Some Westchester towns have apartments in their downtowns but they aren't cheap. Also think about getting a car. In the burbs,bus service isn't as good as the city. Bee-Line system run Westchester buses.
