He also seems to think he's done anything good for the comic by having everyone suddenly aware of the fact that they're fictional. Not as a gag either, it's canon that Heather and the others all know they and their whole world are fictional, a recent chapter even has her reference "a few issues ago". So yeah, all the stakes are gone, no reason to get invested, and there's honestly no reason for anyone in-comic to care about what happens, let alone the readers. All because Krow saw it work for Deadpool because he's the only one who does the Fourth Wall shit and thought "duhh, I can do that too!"

Chances are he was "done" with them after his stupid petty spiteful mustache-twirling-villain-tier revenge scheme earlier.
All they did was probably just create another villain out of a dickish former hero because they had to get revenge on his revenge.
