I read it after playing NITW to see what all the fuss is about. It is actually not that similar. The main character has something in common with Mae. He drops out of college and bums around new york for a few days, and that is the whole book. It is good though. He is a very well developed character.

It isn't really our generation though. It is from the 50s and it is very 50s, but that is fine if you want to know what it is like in the 50s. If you take it at face value it is ok but if you are into subtext there is a lot of good stuff there. It has a weird and quirky writing style, I would reccomend finding an audiobook, that is what I did.

If anything, I thought NITW would have been a better game if it took more from Catcher. But basically, it is considered one of the best american novels ever written for a reason, even if it is mostly a jerk whining about how lame he is.

I'd recommend an audiobook. It is public domain at this point, I found a free download just by googling. The audio quality was crap but the reader was good. First thing, I'm on 8.1 so my instructions might be a bit off if you're on something else. I want you to go to your control panel, then system/security, then click system. Check what bit your operating system is, whether 32 or 64. Just make a mental note. I had a similar issue with my tablet when I tried to install the drivers. My issue was I had changed my default install directory to a drive other than my boot drive and that screwed everything up. I had to uninstall the drivers, change back to my C: drive, and then it worked. If you changed your default install directory maybe try this?

Have you ever changed your install directory using the registry editor or other means? If so, I think Wacom will install them wherever your default install directory is specified there, but when you actually try to use the tablet it tries reading them from where it "expects" them to be (i.e. your C: drive where it wouldn't be).

If you've never gone into registry editor and changed your default install directory (I don't mean when a program asks you where you'd like to install it, what I'm talking about is when you tell Windows where programs should be installed if there is no manual option), then this shouldn't be the problem.

Clearly not. This is where you can click the arrow and it will drop down. Then you can right click on the things that show up and uninstall from there. That's how you can uninstall a driver. You'll want to do that, then restart, then install that driver I gave you a picture of. Make sure you do either 64 or 32 bit (whatever your computer is) and make sure it goes to the default download path, which should be in your C drive somewhere. Then come back.

If you come around tomorrow first thing we'll do is get the sfc /scannow command working, run that. Then do the dxdiag. Then check, and if it's not working, you'll have to send some screenshots of your Devices tray with the little arrow clicked to show all the drivers for your Intuos, then we'll delete the one that we need to, restart, download the correct one (I'll have you check the file path so we can see if it went to the C drive where it ought to) then if it still doesn't work, we can do a chkdsk and double check that you have windows updated all the way, including .net framework. Also your phone camera probably isn't as bad as you think, a big part of it will be your lighting. If you light the shot properly I bet the pictures will come out just fine. It would also help to have your phone stable, like in a stand, tripod, or leaning on something, and then your picture moved into frame. Then you don't have to worry about shake or odd angles, because you can control for them.
