I know they did the first two books in English but herd they discontinued it because it was deemed too violent for childrens. You might find it on Amazon for a low price, I know the manga on Ebay for like 5 or 7 bucks. Let me know if you found some scans of the book I would like to see it for myself.

Sure, I can do a summary:

Magic Children Doing Things was a one-off show idea put up on Short Toons, a sort of who's who of random three-minute cartoons that act as cheap site filler for Nickelodeon/pilots for possible future shows. It's basically about a forest occupied by three main characters: a competent deer spirit who looks over the rest of the cast, a ditsy wood nymph/pile of sentient leaves/what the fuck, and a human ambassador meant to bride the gap between the human and natural worlds but who prefers to cause trouble. The short itself is pretty good, though it had to try and cram a lot of exposition into a three minute time frame. /co/ liked the short and it became Flavor of the Minute because of cute forest creatures and the presence of Monica Ray as the show's creator. The other Short Toons range from pretty good (The Night Crew) to mediocre on average.

Monica Ray is kind of neat. She's known for a goofy semi-autobiographical webcomic called Phuzzy Comics, and her persona is the messy-haired girl in the comic. She does goofy things and acts like a kind-of-immature young artist in the comic, which is always interesting to see from time to time. She's also not too far off body-wise from her comic, even with the noodly art style in consideration. Beyond that, she's a goof with a cult webcomic, some open space for $0.04 ads, and a legacy of some geeky webcomics and animation experience behind her.
