Here's my method of getting semi-light-incontinent, this may vary depending on how you do your daily life and who you are, and my method really needs a lot of time, and diapers.
WARNING: This method may cause a mental incontinence where you might forget you don't have a diaper anymore and suddenly piss or shit anywhere.

This method can be dangerous if you have someone in your house, but if not, happy-self but sad life.

Before doing this method,
>If you have someone with you in your house
-Find a place to stash your diapers, because you'll be needing a lot.
-Find a way where to have your regular changing, as you might do this a lot.
-Don't walk around that much as some diapers can cause you to waddle, making some suspicion that you're wearing a diaper.
-Find a way to dispose your diapers, 'daily', because if you stash your dirty diapers and it gets found out, you're kinda fucked, but if humiliation is your fetish, good luck.

My method is just simple, wear a diaper 24/7, do it for a week, if you have the urge to go, go already, no one is stopping you. Have some regular changing from time to time and treat each changing time with care, make sure no leaks will pass and be sure to apply the god damn diaper rash. After a week of using your diaper daily, you'll start to feel weird for some reason, but that's okay! You're on track. After the week is done, you'll be likely semi-light-incontinent by the end of the week and you'll be needing diapers, but if you don't want that, you can always stop, but save some diapers just in case.

If you're not satisfied with that, go even more, do it for a month or so.

Been doing this since I was 15, first its kinda scary, but once you're alone to yourself, it will make you feel dependent to your own garment.

Like, neglecting how stupid the diapers normally look in MLP, let's take a diaper, and imagine for a second that the artists making the show are going to draw it wet.

The reason it's an interesting question is because the show has a relatively simple flash style. So the thing is to make a wet diaper that matches the aesthetic style of MLP; highly saturated and simple.

If it did, and absolutely had to because it had some contrived plot relevance, I think it'd be one large dark spot.
Gradients are reserved for crystal ponies, so toxic waste piss is therefore ruled out. A large dark spot with sharp edges is the way it'd be done. Probably with a short 1 second scene zoomed in where the spot is shown growing, accompanied by an exaggerated sound effect to make it clear what it is.

Realistically (and stylistically) wet diapers are darker than dry ones. In a style faithful to the show, therefore, they would be noticeably darker, not brighter.
So, more saturated than real life, yes, but definitely not brighter. A saturated darker grey with a sharp border on the almost-white diaper designs, or a dark blue spot on Flurry's blue diaper would be the way they'd go.

Flurry *might* be able to get away with gradients even on her diaper, due to her crystal pony heritage, but they'd probably still avoid it.

Alright, I made a pretty decent diaper that's actually provably compatible with FiM's style. Proof will be the third thing I upload. Second thing will be a wet version (which goes out on a limb a little).

Not as provably in FiM's style as the dry, though, since in Baby Cakes we had poopy diapers with no visual change at all (and where there's poop there's almost always pee).

This is actually based off of a Simpson's screencap of bart wetting himself. It just turned his shorts a bit darker. If I put a solid black object over a dry part of his shorts with 35% opacity it looked identical to the wet parts, but I used 25% on Twilight's diaper since it's white and the difference stands out more than on Bart's dark-colored shorts.

So, yeah, this is the part that isn't actually really FiM style, but kind of aesthetically fits.

Okay, confession time, it's not really that amazing of a proof.

Pinkie wore a diaper correctly, and it looked different from the one on her mane.

So, second confession, it's not really "show style" so much as "show style compatible" (hence the file names). This isn't how a diaper on Pinkie's bum is drawn, but it's how the diaper on her head was drawn (and you could argue that one was more poofy because it went over her poofy mane, and that's actually probably true, but that's irrelevant - point is, it fits in with FiM's artistic style).

Took the colors from the Baby Cakes screencaps and made them a bit more saturated for the other two images, since it looks like my Baby Cakes file isn't as saturated as that Lesson Zero file.

Anyways, I think that's everything. So I think I can say that this is a diaper truly in FiM's style!

So we're probably actually seeing a diaper cover. The packs Cadence gave Twi had pictures of white diapers, and if the diaper Flurry was wearing was a cloth diaper, Twi wouldn't need so many diapers, and they probably would've given her more cloth diapers, not ones that seem to be disposables. Also, it would be kind of odd to give Twi a bunch of diapers that aren't the kind Flurry normally wears. Ergo, the blue thing people think is Flurry's diaper isn't actually Flurry's diaper - her diapers are white and disposable -
what we're seeing is probably a diaper cover.

I was editing >>9660869 and making a wet version and I was working hard to make it look realistically saturated (it just wouldn't look right) and I suddenly realized that realistic saturation was massively under - saturated for how bright all the other colors were. I've seen people complain in the past about wet diapers being too yellow, and I agreed and wanted mine to look better, but I realized I had to make them extra yellow to match how saturated all the other colors are.

So I started wondering about show style stuff. It was just a fun little experiment to run more than anything. I think I'll still draw diapers in my own style (T-S) unless I feel lazy in an edit.

And why were there so dang many? If you wash diapers only every 2 days, you'd still only need like 30, tops, for a baby (adults can stay in a diaper a lot longer than is healthy for a little one).

Also I think the mane 6 were foals before disposable diapers if Dash's diapers in "Parental Glideance" are any indication. They're like the old 60s kind or whatever. Meanwhile in Baby Cakes the twins' diapers went in the trash.

I'll have to go back and compare FH's to AJ's, though.

Style is just style, it still brings the message that the pony is wearing a diaper, stop nagging and post new ponies in diapers, if none give ideas.

But what I really hate about this community is sometimes some ideas are repetitive, if you look around, some drawings has the same thing, but different, ponies and furry art likewise.

Okay, easy cracks aside, I think I kinda get what you're saying. So much of it is just, "oh, she's being hypnotized in a nursery" or whatnot, using the same premise and theme again and again.

Maybe it's largely because people don't put a lot of thought in when all they want is to see a diaper on a pony.

Any writers explore it realistically? Like, not just fetish fuel, but living with it, dealing with related problems, how various loved ones or the different ways a significant other might respond, etc?

It would be interesting to see one where a couple has great difficulty dealing with the fetish - one dying to scratch the itch and be in diapers, and wanting to diaper and bottle feed their mate like heck, while the other really struggles to tolerate it, but they don't want to give up on the relationship because they love so many other things about each other.

I feel like that's a pretty realistic scenario a lot of us might run into and it'd be interesting to see it written well...
