After reading a few articles about The Hunchback in Notre Dame, however, and how it stands out, I grew this intense fondness for it.
The movie is darker and more grim than any other Disney movie ever.

Anyway, movie aside, the sheer character, Frollo, and his lines and personality. Holy crap it's the most interesting villain of all the Disney bad guys, imo.
And the song, Hellfire, goes further than any other Disney song in portraying the complex ambivalence of a deranged fanatic. It's so damn powerful.
