>we're this far into being back in Endtown
>no in-comic exposition about what happened after the Milk Trial or if the anti-human mentality died down
>Mallard is still missing despite being fundamental in solving issues for the colony, including the OP Topsiders and the food issue
>Dottie isn't even a main character
Disappointed so far desu senpai
>>9242301
Don't you wanna see Bearman absolutely DESTROYING Pigwoman with his huge cock yet again?
>>9242480
No thank you. The longer we stay away from Walt and Portia the better, since they add nearly nothing to what's going after the very start of the arc where the wolf hogcalls and the phonecalls actually happened.
someone give me a rundown of endtown because im too lazy to read the entire comic
>>9243087
It's better to read the comic.
>>9243087
I'm too lazy to type something up, so this is what the back of the book says:
> A mutagenic plague followed by a global war fought with disintegration weaponry has left much of the Earth a desert of fine powder and what remains of humanity fragmented into humans, animal-like mutants, and bloodthirsty monstrosities with lots of teeth. The surface, still teeming with the mutagenic virus, has become the domain of the dreaded Topsiders; well-organized, technologically advanced, and heavily armed un-mutated humans sworn to exterminate mutations of any kind in order to clear the way for the eventual resurgence of a new, genetically clean humanity. Faced with annihilation, mutants and "impure" humans have retreated into the depths of the planet to form communities and hope to win, or at least survive, what may prove to be mankind's final war. Endtown is the story of one of those communities.
But like >>9243296 said, it's way better to read the comic.
I wonder if we're just seeing the fire brigade in action to reassure us that the whole of Endtown won't be burning down, just before we flick away to something else, or if this is the start of the Great Fire of Endtown...
>>9244018
>Great Fire of Endtown
Aaron doesn't like to be repetitive and that'd be too much like Unity.
>>9244046
The current arc is already feeling a bit repetitive, but I suppose that would be a little much.
Unless, perhaps, it was less "Death by inferno!" and more "Shit, a lot of us lost our homes because of the wolves, who are all pariahs now. Also, let's rebuild the town with an updated look."
>>9244094
>let's rebuild the town with an updated look
Unless the have matter-energy convertors, that's impossible.
>>9244127
What if Mallard's been breeding dittos, though? If they can form a virtual environment and have physically respectable strength and density in great enough numbers, they can probably play the part of instant building materials.
Or it could just be a matter of sticking to using the copiously available natural rock around them. Plenty of water, probably plenty of limestone around, too... Endtown might end up looking a bit medieval, though...

Why is Aaron so ignorant? Did he actually finish school?
>>9243508
I wonder what its like to turn into an animal-person.
Do they have urges to act like regular animals - like the pigs wanting to roll in mud?
>>9254300
That's kind of what this whole recent arc is about.
>>9254197
I don't think that's a sewer, I think it's just another access point to the canals. I think the sewerage system is probably separate. You see stuff like that in some places.
>>9254300
It seems to vary based on the needs of the plot, but basically cartoon animal stereotypes apply. So yes, pigs probably want to roll in mud, raccoons have an instinct to loot things, etc.
>>9254300
>I wonder what its like to turn into an animal-person.
It's definitely not what you thought it would be.
Did another generated team from the last thread, this one is for the Puma anon with the raven, antelope and gerbil.

Were Dittos people too?
>>9257742
Well, there were going to be skeleton mutants and clown mutants, so perhaps.
>>9254197
He went to school to learn animation, I think, so I guess he did. Aaron doesn't seem to care much about science, though, despite liking retro scifi so much. Considering everything, I guess he is more into it for the political/philosofical/psychological under/overtones.
Mutant regen aside, do you think there were any wolf casualties? Nightsticks are less-lethal weapons, but I wouldn't exactly call them nonlethal, especially for blows aimed at the head...
And what of the cops? What of Harbottle? One way trip to laceration town? I don't see him in the car...
>>9261212
He went horns first so he probably fared better than any other mutant would.
>>9261308
It'd be great if we had seen Harbottle get even with a surprise headbutt to the back of that wolf's head.
You know, I get that it was for a joke but he is so abnormally small that it's hard to ignore. And now that I think about it the wolves are pretty tall in general, though I guess that has to do with "big bad wolf" cartoon tropes.

Dottie carves for the knot yet again, can anyone stop her?
>>9266592
No one can stop her appetite for superior wolf cock.
And the press has finally arrived!
>>9266592
I don't know about "caving for the knot", but this level of sociopathic disregard for anything but getting the headline mixed with stereotypical newshoundery doesn't feel like it matches her previous characterisation at all.
That cop was in the wrong smashing Duck Reporter's camera, though.

>>9266813
this and the sure to be ensuing follow up makes me hate dottie
>>9267961
I can't help but think that's what Aaron wants now, yes.
I wonder if he feels like Dottie's been "stealing" the audience's attention from Walt and Portia? Maybe the stuff about people hoping for Dottie to become the hero of the arc and thinking "bear and pig" were boring got back to him, and he didn't like it...
>>9268059

>>9266813

>>9266813
What bugs me is that this could have been in character if she didn't say >Holy Cow! It's a headline buffet! Grab a plate and let's go!
There's so many lines that could have shown Dottie's excitement and have been in character
>Now people will believe I'm not biased about the wolves!
>Holy cow! This beats working on that piece about the howling!
>Wait til Philo gets a look at this!
Hell even
>Beep beep get out of the way! I crave wolf dick!
is more in character.
>>9269333
Holy trips of truth.
It kind of feels like this is Aaron saying "No, don't like that character, that's the one I've decided I don't like any more and which I'm trying to use to make an Important Point about the media! You're supposed to like Walt and Portia!"
>>9269576
>I'm trying to use to make an Important Point about the media!
The line just makes her seem self centered and selfish, which Dottie throughout the entirety of Endtown, is not. She may be over ambitious, violent, and definitely stubborn, but she is not self centered and always reported for the greater good (not the Marx kind). If we saw her fall from grace and go from a diligent reporter to an ambulance chaser ready to cash in on the next dirty laundry, I'd understand, but it shows she wants to get a good story about the wolves. I don't know what Aaron's trying to say with this but I feel it was poorly executed.
>>9269988
>The line just makes her seem self centered and selfish, which Dottie throughout the entirety of Endtown, is not.
Agreed. It's utterly weird and feels like Aaron has an ulterior motive here.
>She may be over ambitious, violent, and definitely stubborn, but she is not self centered and always reported for the greater good (not the Marx kind).
See, I'm not sure I'd even agree on violent (or at least not on her always having been so violent as to tackle a distressed witness - that goes beyond her previous forcefulness with Walt and dips into uncharacteristic callousness, for me) or even over-ambitious, but she was definitely a stubborn little lady, and I absolutely agree that this doesn't feel right for her at all. It's like Aaron's writing of her has progressively changed for the worse since her appearance as Walt's Voice of Reason at the start of the chapter.
>If we saw her fall from grace and go from a diligent reporter to an ambulance chaser ready to cash in on the next dirty laundry, I'd understand, but it shows she wants to get a good story about the wolves. I don't know what Aaron's trying to say with this but I feel it was poorly executed.
I'm not even sure that sort of progression would feel right for her character, but yes, just suddenly doing this with her feels deeply wrong.
Remember.
It's better than poppy.
>>9270354
>>9270354
>Implying this wouldn't have been the better ending to the ship arc.
>>9268059
great job killing the thread asshole
>>9270354
I'm not sure it is, at the moment. The current arc in Poppy is a tad more appealing, to me. Certainly it seems to be truer to its own characters.
There's a lot of Poppy/Endtown fandom overlap, isn't there?
>>9270625
During a particularly crappy time for Poppy, a bunch dropped it for Endtown and tried to start a rivalry to spite Morbi. That's when the quality of discussion declined, going from lore and theories to waifuism, fights and unapologetic furfaggotry. They tried to move to OOPs early on but were blown the fuck out. I'm not sure what going on now, though, since I've been too busy to notice everything now.
>Aaron systematically character assassinating Dottie
>/co/ defense force for Aaron already shitting on the character and surpressing disappointment and criticism of this
I'm never going to like Walt and Portia or sympathize with Heather no matter how much he keeps slapping that wet fish over my head. All he's doing is killing what little interest I had left in the one character who had the most promise at the start.
>>9273896
>/co/ defense force for Aaron already shitting on the character and surpressing disappointment and criticism of this
'The fuck are you on about? Just because people are cracking jokes about Dottie being a wolf apologist doesn't meant they approve of it or agree with what Aaron is doing.
>>9273896
>I'm never going to like Walt and Portia or sympathize with Heather no matter how much he keeps slapping that wet fish over my head. All he's doing is killing what little interest I had left in the one character who had the most promise at the start.
Can't really disagree with this. I get the feeling Aaron's reaction to things like this not working for the audience is usually to push them harder instead of changing tack, though, so I dare say it'll get worse.
The only time I can think of where it seems he might have actually changed what he was doing because people weren't going for it is when he ended up making little to no direct reference to Lyn besides visual once he learned that we weren't going for the "Holly loved Lyn enough to leave Wally for a fake" thing, instead making her decision seem to be more about obsessing over her past life in general.
>>9274082
>'The fuck are you on about? Just because people are cracking jokes about Dottie being a wolf apologist doesn't meant they approve of it or agree with what Aaron is doing.
This is also a fair point, I've been interpreting it more as morale-saving gallows-humour, especially the drawn stuff from Pen Anon, though I could be wrong.
>>9274351
>The only time I can think of where it seems he might have actually changed what he was doing because people weren't going for it is when he ended up making little to no direct reference to Lyn besides visual once he learned that we weren't going for the "Holly loved Lyn enough to leave Wally for a fake" thing, instead making her decision seem to be more about obsessing over her past life in general.
That was because of him rushing things, not because he cared about the audience. Him caring about the audience was, supposedly, that he didn't kill off Holly outright. Aside from that he didn't give a shit. He shat on her character as much as he could, even beating the dead horse by making more strips dedicated to that and telling the audience that they were a bunch of children for disagreeing.
>>9274480
I don't know, I feel like Holly could easily have made a reference to Lyn of that nature in her letter if Aaron had still been pushing that, plus the strip directly after we heard about the "issue" from KC was heavily delayed, almost as if there'd been a last-minute rewrite...
Aside from that, though, this is all making me wonder if he's going to give us a similar spiel to the one we got in "That Email" re: Dottie...
Actually, we haven't seen one of those Monthly Status Report emails in a while, have we?
>>9274703
>I feel like Holly could easily have made a reference to Lyn of that nature in her letter if Aaron had still been pushing that
Again, he was rushing things out. He just wanted to get his point across and be done with it. When that didn't work he used that infamous letter just to make it clear that he was done with Holly. I know you admire Aaron and want to give him the benefit of the doubt, so do I. But you can't deny what is now obvious; Aaron gave up on Holly and simply didn't care enough to write her off well.
>>9275009
I want to reply to this, but 4chan keeps telling me I look like a bot, so I'm just going to mess with my wording in case I'm setting off any keyword triggers to get that kind of false positive... bear with me if you're still here (this is also a test).
>>9275009
(Breaking it up... first part)
Oh, I don't disagree that it feels like he dumped her pointlessly, artlessly, quite ungracefully and even somewhat amateurishly (in my opinion after developing increasing personal issues with the character over the three or so years prior to doing so). I'll even agree that various things (like losing time to another bout of illness after having promised "Christmas in Endtown", growing tired of the over-extended arc himself and, yes, wanting to be rid of Holly) combined to make him rush things more than a bit.
>>9275009
>>9275634
I just think he has sufficient self-respect to have probably made a little more effort than you're crediting him with, and I think we would likely have seen Holly make a relevant remark regarding her supposed enduring love for Lyn in the note to Wally if Aaron had still been pursuing that particular line of writing (which I think was something that came after a long period in which he had been writing Holly as if it had been all about the baby, which might explain why it felt so tacked-on and afterthought-ish.)
It also feels to me like rushing it *that* much doesn't quite mesh with the fact that he then spent so much time and effort attempting to deny any criticism, to the point of bending the storyline out of shape with a Marx sequence in order to enforce it. If he was rushing it to that degree I would have expected him to just drop it without bringing in his least-popular character to harangue the audience some more.
Personally I respect Aaron's previous work on Endtown but the last arc very much moved me into a position of detached criticism with a view that Aaron is probably suffering from issues beyond his general ill-health that are currently negatively affecting his writing.
>>9275646
>I respect Aaron's previous work on Endtown but the last arc very much moved me into a position of detached criticism with a view that Aaron is probably suffering from issues beyond his general ill-health that are currently negatively affecting his writing
I'm on the same boat. Just with a bit more of the good ol' pessimism.
>>9275699
That's entirely reasonable. Pessimists are a necessity; they keep us grounded and remind us to address the worst case scenarios.
Do you guy think there will be a strip on Friday with GoComics going down for maintenance?
>>9277361
Depends on how it coincides with Aaron's schedule, I think.

This last update made me pretty salty plus I had a busy day.
>>9281901
Question: Is that just a random original character for these or is it your "fursona"?
>>9282051
It's a wolf character I marked up for my original bitching of the arc and I'm just rolling with it at this point. I'm not a furry so the idea of being particular about it never really crossed my mind, I'm just drawing animal people and have a particular series dedicated to 'female wolf bitching and reacting to this arc'.
If I was around during the Ship arc I would have been drawing a lizard bitching out the end, it's just for the sake of a character to talk through that is tangentially related to the subject without usurping any existing one since all of this is on an IMO basis already.
>>9281901

>>9288876
why not both?
So what's it going to be?
Flash to someone reading the newspaper and reacting?
Philo monologuing to Dottie some more about bias before glumly running her photos/article because... reasons?
Dottie gets worse?
Dottie gets physically involved?
Dottie wakes up in bed, sweating, exclaiming "I think my job is doing things to my dreams!"?
>>9293798
I think Dottie's going to get physically involved or at least chased by duck cop.
>>9293798
I'm going to guess Pig Cop intervenes and demands Dottie hand over her camera which is going to be the most hamfisted way to make Dottie believe the antiwolf thing is real and there is a concerted effort to silence people saying otherwise.
To be fair if we entirely cut out Dottie's strangely out of character moment in the last strip: on a purely journalistic approach to the situation what happened here IS newsworthy. The laundry which was part of contention to 'antiwolf racism' ends up on fire and the rioters on scene are being handled by the cops. The original photograph was going to show the wolf rioter having the much smaller cop by the throat with the cop's own club poised to give a good whacking. Overall the scene wouldn't have held up as being pitiable to the wolves to anyone with half a brain.
The duck cop however smashed the camera with that moment and instead Dottie has a sensationalist picture of the cop hitting her coworker in clear assault on the press which, if printed, will shake faith in the police more than raise proper anger with the wolf rioters who were way out of line. This throws into public question the efficacy of the police, who after the Milk Trial arc really have to reassure and prove they are NOT the rats, and having a 'peaceful protest' erupt into a riot on top of a cop assaulting a member of press makes a ticket towards undermining the public faith in them.
Just ugh, this is a mess.
>>9293987
>Dottie escapes with photo and story
>Dottie's article sparks lack of faith in the "incompetent, brutal police"
>Jackrabbit uses this plus the wolves to push for an Endtown militia to "keep the streets safe"
>Encourages predators that want to prove themselves to be "good citizens" to join militia
>Uses rising sentiment against wolves to push them and then all non-militia predators + sympathisers out using said militia (Dottie + Walt + Portia exiled...)
>End goal is total rule with "tame" predator goons on every corner plus expendable army with which to face Topsiders
>>9294637
Sounds kind of familiar. I wonder if Jackrabbit would offer to keep youths that promise to be good muscle down the line (larger anthros like rhino, elephant, wolves, horses) while setting up his utopia.
Also I wonder if George Orwell actually existed in the Endtown universe because the story's quite fitting.
>denounces humanity, extols animal nature
>slowly subverts the established government, disposes of the previously well-liked leader
>loyal armed forces comes next
>>9294637
>it's basically a repeat of "Endtown populace get wrong idea about current system, support upending of system in favour of worse thing" from the Milk Trial
would anyone be interested in a Jim/OC fic
dont think i've seen any endtown fanfics so why not?
dont go apeshit on me please, anons have fee fees too
>>9295212
Do you have an actual grasp of the character or would just be two OCs with one wearing Jim's skin? Why an OC, why not an alternate reality using established characters? Is it straigh or gay (as if I don't know the answer)?
>>9295494
it's gay, and if your wanting established characters, then who to pair jim with?
>>9295558
I have no idea because nobody is gay in this comic. You could maybe make a story where Jim and Wally find each other in the waste after escaping their respective communities and mourning the loss of their loved ones together.

The last one was pretty popular and I figured I'd do another one before the weekend starts for those that missed the last one or want to do another one.
Congratulations! You drew the short straw. You’ve been volunteered for foraging duties top side for your colony (https://www.randomlists.com/random-animals set the quantity to 1 and hit refresh). Accompanying you are 2-4 unfortunate souls who were volunteered with you ( http://www.seventhsanctum.com/generate.php?Genname=anthro Set category to general and amount to 2-4). You are all sent topside with backpacks, rations for 3 days, a flashlight, and a blaster. How long does your party survive?

>The scatterbrained, lazy male anthropomorphic Rabbit. He has a broad-shouldered build.
Lazy jock rabbit. Seems pretty useless.
>The educated female anthropomorphic Hare. Her wardrobe is revealing.
Not entirely useless but seems like it will be a bad pairing with jock rabbit.
If cartoons have taught me anything about rabbits, either we're screwed in the first 48 hours or they screw and we come back with 14 new mouths to feed. Either way it seems like an effort in futility.

>>9300834
GoComics has one month exclusivity to the strips and Aaron sends rewards individually. He really can't use Patreon for much.
>>9301043
Interesting. So no exclusive concept art for Patrons, or anything? Or if there is, he puts it in the once-off Status Report emails which new Patrons have no access to, like the Q&A stuff? That's not very enticing.
Makes me think even more that most of the Patrons are in it less for the comic and more to keep him alive, then.

Arguably, though I'd say most Patreon runners make things like that a higher tier for a reason.
He should probably still make the Status Reports Patron-only posts instead of emails, though. A Patreon with exclusives like that would logically get more appealing to newcomers as time goes on...
Progress! GoComics is now showing an "under maintenance or overloaded" message instead of just not being there...
>>9304925
Oh Mikie...
>>9305388
GoComics is up but no new comic.
>>9303127
Is he talking about his own comic? I mean holy fuck this is the biggest projection I've seen since someone showed a movie at a side of a 6-story building
>>9305912
A rare comment from Aaron:
>Well, I was hoping to get the strip uploaded before the site upgrade at 4, but a power outage has thwarted the effort. Friday’s strip will be here when the site comes back online. Sorry about this, folks. :-(
>>9303127
>utilizes too much shorthand
How many times have we seen the back of Wally's head again?
>>9307435
Someone post that .gif
(To be fair, though, while he IS criticising laziness and shortcuts while doing that and other things like cutting and pasting art, I think he's more specifically talking about things like those generic anime expressions)
what happens with holly makes me sad and is retarded.
i mean really, the solution to a problem isn't self-delusion. makes no sense -- the problem's only going to come back, and most likely worse.
picture it
>wake up, be mouse, with dead fish-child
>blood everywhere
>husband walks in
>he mutates
>everything else happens in-between
>put into illusion-based world where your dead-child exists, with the underlying fact that that child is actually dead and never existed.
would you not recognize the underlying facts and thus fuck yourself psychologically even more?
oh but she found peace!!!
bullshit, if peace is lying to yourself through self-delusion then what is even the point. at least someone like jim was able to die in a decent way -- killing a whole colony of /pol/-tier retards.
also, fuck kirbee. stupid bitch. already had jim cucked by his gf, then next thing we know, holly is getting cucked by wally with kirbee, and it keeps going on. i mean really, pic related what the fuck is this bullshit.
instantly after holly is gone, they end up with wally and kirbee together and there's no issue anymore? i mean sure holly is gone but hey atleast i get to fuck a bubbly, stupid lizard slut now! i'm genuinely pissed.
Hey, first time posting in this gen.
So...
>re:the wolves vs the pigs/cops/"racists"/everyone else
Am I just supposed to hate everyone in this storyline aside from the bear who's porking his new sow girlfriend?
I thought that Dottie the reporter was supposed to have been a level head during that Milk Trial shit, but I guess the water's been tainted by stupid pills from the Topsiders or something.
>>9307599
Endtown Syndrome. Something there seems to be turning everyone into either a boring, flat cutout of a character or a raging idiot.
Really starting to look like Holly was in the right to push Wally to leave.
>>9307599
>aside from the bear who's porking his new sow girlfriend?
>implying this contrived romance is likable
Buff bruiser hero Walt and ace reporter Dottie were both destroyed for hollow cutouts in this arc. It's so dumb because at the start we can see their old characterizations were there before it all rolled downhill.
>Well, the strip is ready, but the server isn’t. Hopefully I’ll be able to regain access again soon. Again, sorry about this, folks.
>>9307872
Speaking as a fan of characters like Tintin, what Aaron's done with Dottie is so damn disappointing... she felt like the only person in Endtown that had her head screwed on right.

90% of his money comes from Patreon, as of October last year...
That Patreon tracker says his earnings for that month were $1528.20...
$1528.20 / 9 is $169.80 (meaning his total earnings for that month were around $1698)...
Anyone know what the going rate for ad views on a site like GoComics is?
If we assume one cent per view (and last I heard that's optimistic)... that's 16980 pageviews a month... divide that over about 12 strips and that's about 1400 readers. And that's assuming none of the views are casuals or people binging the archives.
Someone want to double check my math?
>>9307528
Hello, new reader! Aaron gave a bunch of explanations for that but rather than make you even more angry and confused let me just tell you the truth: at the begining of The Milk Trial he got divorced, since then he started projecting his feelings of separation on the characters, then when Kirbee got introduced he started projecting his new lover on her and... you know the rest. Yes, it is not fair for the characters, the comic or the readers but there is nothing that can be done now, just hope that Aaron can get over it for good.
Also, it wasn't Jim. He lost his mind (that's what Schism Syndrome normally does) and was taken over by something Aaron calls "I" (we call it Eye to avoid confusion)- Eye left at the very end when Jim called for "SARAH!!".
Looks like ArsonWolf didn't make it out...
>>9311204
I feel bad for laughing. I guess those anons who said the stuff he used knocks people down were right.

>Mallard is still missing despite being fundamental in solving issues for the colony, including the OP Topsiders and the food issue
oh no, the gary stu of gary stus to surpass marx has yet to grace us with his aura of infallibility and special ability to solve all problems by being annoying, what a fucking tragedy
fuck off

Uh... thanks? Though I guess there's not much more to say.
Except... odds on a twist that it's not ArsonWolf? Anybody? I doubt it's Heather, unless she was dumb enough to run in and try to save... her laundry orders?

Huh, good point. Now that *would* be a twist...
(InB4 it was Marx...)
>>9311707
>Huh, good point. Now that *would* be a twist...
>(InB4 it was Marx...)
But Marx being the crispy corpse would be a good twist.
>>9311928
True. But I feel like Aaron probably has an "out" for Marx even in cases of mortal discontinuity, though.
Like he "pops" into view in the afterlife/crossroads/whatever, says "#$%! Not again!" and then Dimension Doors his way back to reality.
>>9311707
>>9311928
>Marx is the crispy corpse
If only. That would make this jump into an interesting murder mystery that would be ten times more interesting than this unholy fusion of Unity+Milk Trial Arc.
Probably an insinuation Marx started the fire to push events to some desirable outcome which he will gloat about in the Oracle pool once the arc finishes.
>>9312038
>Probably an insinuation Marx started the fire to push events to some desirable outcome which he will gloat about in the Oracle pool once the arc finishes.
Marx stewing himself in the all-knowing Oracle Pool is unintentionally symbolic of what he's doing to the plot.
Especially if he farts in the bath.
>>9312106
Deadeyes were right. He needs a Zero beam to the face ASAP.
>>9311204
So what other public services in Endtown are getting cut, if any, and why?
Why would you cut the fire service anyway? Doesn't seem like most people in Endtown have much to do, might as well let the ones that want to dress in bright colours and slide on poles do it...
>>9312898
hell, i don't really know
/co/ is going pretty fast today.
>>9313978
It's dead, happy now?
>>9315165
no, because you with your unoriginal comment on your borrowed thread made here dead too. You are an idiot and I wish you would stop with this /co/ obsession. Even the one guy who said he didn't come to the /trash/ thread said he still came to /trash/
>>9315196
You are a bigger idiot for believing the /co/ thread makes a significant impact on this one.
>>9315263
I have been here long enough to see how these threads die while those ones either copy what's in here or barely stay alive with obvious bored comments that say nothing. That was a comic allright, how's /trash/? Anything new get posted there? It's ridiculous. And it's forced, by one person
>>9312898
>let the ones that want to dress in bright colours and slide on poles do it
Great idea!
>>9316287
I wish Aaron had became friends with Eric, something good would probably come out of that.
>>9316369
>Sabrina cameo in Endtown
>TDK resurfaces and produces lots and lots of Endtown porn
What's an under-exposed aspect of the Endtown setting you'd like to see explored more in the comic?
I'd like to know more about the other settlements... leaders, political structures, origins, societies, resources. I'd also like to know if there are (or were) any wasteland trade routes.
>>9320823
where the fuck endtown is and it's surronding zones / topsider outposts are. the only thing i know is that it takes place in america
that too
>>9320823
>any wasteland trade routes
The place where Holly and Wally met Jim and Sarah was real popular for trading, according to Wally. We know it's gone, at least.
>>9320850
Jim wanted to cross the sea, so we can assume that Topsiders are all over North America.
>>9320903
>Is this near the east coast?
Yes, Neitherland is pretty much what used to be New England or the Thirteen Colonies.
>>9320903
> near the east coast
someone said that zones on near the shore are more-intact
it'd be pretty cool to see new york in aaron's universe
>>9320823
>origins
Marx made all the underground colonies. Can't remember if it was Aaron or KC who said this.
>resources
We know Epsilon Two had tamales.
>>9321035
Hillside was New York, in a sense. It was the biggest, most important and advanced city. Endtown's New York was probably the same or less impressive than our own due to all the importance going to Hillside.
>>9321066
I think Aaron mentioned it in the e-mail and also Endtown was the most special
>>9317637
D-don't tease us with ideas like that, anon
>>9320823
I want to know more about the confederacy and the United States in relation to Neitherland. The Geography is so different for each of them and I want to know what happened to the inhabitants and their relation to each other.

>>9323342
It could be either, as he is both a cartoon/comics and electronics nerd. And he is old enough to have actually used their stuff.
>>9323051
Heather at least deserves some more lewds
I haven't read Endtown since the main dude became Ditto Jesus, why are the police not rats anymore? Did they all get fired after the rigged election?
Poor cops
>>9325276
What happened to the rats is something of a mystery, one of many following the end of the Milk Trial Arc that wasn't properly answered in-comic.
Unrelated but I managed to finish the last team from the previous thread! Didn't have much time to sit down and draw this week so sorry for the wait!
>>9325276
The rats got fired before Wally became ditto Jesus. That happened at the end of the milk trial. The police took over for Endtown security because they liked shooting people too much.
>>9325375
That's awesome! I love that you've been drawing these.
>>9325421
Thank you! The teams have interesting potentials plus I can draw them in a variety of scenarios so it makes for a fun drawing exercise.
>>9323506
>middle-aged cartoon/electronics nerd with long-running black and white web comic, FA presence
Actually kind of amazed that he and Aaron don't seem to know each other.
I'm severely disappointed that this isn't the comic.
Did my team from last thread because I should be studying instead. Yes, it's a dry-erase marker.

>instantly after holly is gone, they end up with wally and kirbee together and there's no issue anymore? i mean sure holly is gone but hey atleast i get to fuck a bubbly, stupid lizard slut now! i'm genuinely pissed.
This has all been covered before. Holly was pretty fucked up by the Milk Trial and then the shit in Unity (that they were eating their children broke her, hence Jimgod asking about the baby to f*ck with her), and was at her breaking point. Losing the casserole was the last straw and she was this close to suicide. Holly surviving the flashback was the 'nice' ending, as Aaron was going to have her leap from the cliffs when they reached the ocean. Either way, the future is more about what happens to Wally and Chic; Kirbee is just along for the ride.
>>9331477
Are you really arguing that the ending wasn't forced on the characters at all? That the outcome is in any way satisfactory? And are you SERIOUSLY trying to sell "Wally and Chic plus Kirbee" when Chic was the one turned into a prop for the cat and lizard to steal the spotlight?
Have you gone mad with denial??
>>9331694
Not that anon, but no one is saying the ending was good in any way. It was dissapointing for all readers, both hollyfags and Kirbeefags alike, however he's right on everything he said minus the "+Kirbee" part, it has been discussed to death in both /trash/ and /co/ threads. The ending being forced is arguable, to me it felt more like Aaron played it safe.
