Then you will love RF4. Also, I should mention you can RIDE THE MONSTERS as well, which can be cool or outright hilarious (see apple monster).

Crafting stuff is also pretty neat in that you can craft headgear, armor, accesories, swords, shields, staves, medicines, and all manner of cooking. (I should mention you can even craft Stat Up potions (!) And even Level Up and Friendship potions (!!!) to cheese the post-game if you like.) Also you can get magic and upgrade it as well. You can even take your crafting stations a n y w h e r e.

The game has things called Prince(ss) Points, which you can use to make orders around town and add functions/more farm land/etc to your home base.

The game even has a new game+ function as well as hard/easy mode (further done by using Prince(ss) Points to raise/lower monster levels if you feel hard mode isn't enough)

The art is nice and cartoonish in style, it conveys the theme well and is pleasing to the eye.

The shading tends to switch true, but it does convey the changes of moods and emotions, however this would be more naturely achieved with changes in positions and otherwise, via the usage of changing the background with the mood change lighting.
Opposed to letting that lighting switch without transition.
Anon has noted though that he will have to do work tomorrow, so I'm grateful for the art.

Though noting the style and the fact that we're in a fucking DxK thread, the faces do tend to sharply overlap with face parts that don't overlap like that normally (cartoonish), however in cartoonish styles the anatomy is typically over-exaturated while following anatomy, perhaps practicing solid-drawing could open up new ways to make the facial expressions follow classic anatomy conventions, even if it would only add to the inspiration.

Nice art with some room for improvement, but mainly well drawn with nice conveyments of moods.

10/10 want moar.

Etheross is kind of a weird artist. I feel like he has experience doing professional background animation or something, because his pure technical ability is amazing, but when he tried to make a comic he quit after 3 sketched pages because he couldn't do natural movement and characters physically interacting right. At least by his standards, they looked decent to me.

Maybe he's just one of those weird artists that spent a decade practicing drawing buildings and bowls of fruit and shit really hard.

I don't think it has to be sex, but I am curious about that knight. Not only does he look Russian - I believe the term for a Russian knight is bogatyr? - but he's having some very obvious difficulty with the idea of slaying that dragon.

Personally, I'd love a story where an emotionally contested night slowly (and with a lot of pain, confusion and perhaps social stigma) goes through the process of realizing that he doesn't want to slay the dragon, then realizing that it deserves to have someone as a friend, then seeing that he wouldn't mind being this friend himself.

A bit overemotional for my taste - it could be good, but it requires a slightly more serious tone than we've had so far, and some serious investment in the knight - so far we've seen he's his own person and not as caring about weapons, but not that he's particularly emotional or has had a tragic past. It'd take some serious work and a bit of a tone-shift to pull off.

I'd prefer something a little bit more upbeat - she's trying to show a very uncomfortable knight all her weapons, and he's trying to figure out how to deal with the duty to kill her vs. her surprisingly kind nature. Eventually he realizes he can keep with the spirit of his duty by befriending her so she won't have to kill knights or threaten the village anymore - or maybe he realizes he can't kill her, but he can't go back to the villsge if he hasn't killed her, so he stays. At first he's still uncomfortable and doing this as a way to wriggle out of an uncomfortable part of his duty, but he slowly comes to truly be friends with her. Maybe she even helps him become a better knight, since she knows more about weapons and their proper use than he cares to.
