LR Storge is mostly Gloves Off/Frenzy Res and some Handicraft points. You could get S+1 easily enough with it if you want. Replace Handicraft with Load Up for the Gunner ver.

HR is about the same, but has some extra points for other skills: Resilience, Nimbleness, Fencing (BM) and Precision (Gunner)

G Rank is the same, but on top of Gloves Off and Frenzy Res, you'll get a guaranteed Load Up or Sharpness+1 with points towards Prayer and Prudence.

Its not amazing as a set, but its alright, especially if you enjoy fighting Shaggy/Gore/Chaotic Gore or anything that inflicts the frenzy virus.

No, I came to a point where I needed 8 uroktor scale+ and there was no quest for them and the clickity clack capture subquest kept giving me LR mats every time. That along with the end of the semester giving me a ton of work made me stop.
I did every hunting and capture LR hub quest right after dinosword. The music video and credits didn't play for some reason so thank fuck for that.
Loli idol pop music was a mistake and it's insulting to have it in a "celebration" of past monster hunter games instead of a diva.

May not finish it after the semester ends anyways. I just want 5 to come along and fix everything Gen and XX left unfinished or removed but it won't because Capcom is incompetent.

This occurs when there is poor communication with the development team. Someone didn't make their intentions know and the same mistake was made two-fold.

Another amazing example of this is For Honor regarding the Warden and Lawbringer heroes.
>Warden has a shoulder bash attack that can guarantee two light attacks if it hits but is easily dodgeable.
>He can cancel this into a guardbreak for a free heavy which will catch a dodge, this creates a 5050.
>Additionally, he can do it again hit or miss creating a vortex making playing against said character complete luck.
They "nerfed" him but making ti so he can't cancel as far into the bash and it's now somewhat punishable.
But who dee fucking loo they gave the exact same cancer to Lawbringer for blocking an attack.
>Previously on block, Law was able to shove off his attacker and chain a light attack but it was blockable.
>Now it can no longer be blocked giving him the same followthrough or guardbreak 5050 because the victim is forced to dodge.

Long story short, at the end of the day most people are here for THE monsters but don't mind anthro if it's done tastefully. I think there's a distinct point between someone's take on anthropomizing a monster and someone making an OC of a monster, and of course not everyone will like the liberties taken especially when the series doesn't exactly have a ton of monster porn.

I mean shit, it appears that barely anyone can properly draw a Zinogre.

But that said, the general annoyance of OCs would be coming from looking at some search results at wherever the fuck and seeing them dilute them for specific monsters, and at which point questions whether you're actually looking at a monster or a character.

Here's a sketch of the anthro Valfalk for the request so I can gather opinions and iron out the small details on how it looks before I do the request itself. If OR is here, his input would be most welcome. Keep in mind this was done quite fast-and-loose and it's my first time doing an anthro.
The left wing was conciously omitted and I had to ad-lib the hind legs a bit, but I hope it still fits. The wings are difficult to grasp from renders and screenshots, details don't seem to match from one shot to the other. Do they change shape or something?

About the breasts: Should I put nipples on them, leave them smooth? Should I put the "vents" on the breasts or between them?

About the hands: Three fingers (that's the amount the ingame model has) or four fingers (for aesthetics)?

Might explain how in Stories there is that Rider emblem that allowed control over monsters since ancient times. It also subsequently brought out their latent super power they wouldn't regularly have. It might be a regular tech they had but it's true purpose was muddled over the years.

I'm not up to date on the Riders but I'm aware that they are on a separate island from the Guild.
Maybe their ancient counterpart created the dragons and maybe engineered monsters from local wildlife in a war against the ancient civilization on the Guild's territory. Enemies are often demonized during war, so it would make sense that the man-made origins would be omitted from propaganda and forgotten by the ancients from the modern Guild's area.

Lavasioth in FU was a much better plesioth, actually. Fixed hitboxes for melee and actually dangerous for bow users.

The relevant new moves it got would be a jump into a slam, hurting anything standing under it and the dreaded u-turn. Where it would start swimming on land and would home into hunters. It would often take a random amount of time to actually start moving into your direction and it could turn around and keep swimming at least one and sometimes twice for another go.

I would get outsmarted by a fish, being a gunner that died in one hit.

Never played X or XX so I can't comment on the new lavasioth.

Hard Mode: No subspecies

Mine are:
Main series: Raths for 1st gen, Nargacuga for 2nd gen, Barioth for 3rd gen (Lagiacrus as a close second) and Valfalk for the 4th gen.
Frontier: Espinas, Kuarusepusu (Cualsepus?) for Forward and Baruragaru (Barlagar? Balragal?) for G.
For Online it's Merphistophelin.

Note that all my choices are mostly based on their designs, I haven't played either Frontier nor Online.

I hope you aren't talking about the shitty bloom filter you couldn't get rid of Tri had and that made everything a bit brown. Yet I can't remember if 3U had it.

4 and 4U had a strange contrast too, but it wasn't as bad in the actual game compared to captured pictures and videos where everything looked at the same time too bright in some spots and too dark in others.

I would disagree about music but I really loved the one that played during the chase sequence of Ceadeus. Definitely one of the higher points in the series there.
