I had a Kobold character for a brief time. Died due to darksouls-like rookie GM. Fragile little blue kobold who was blessed with strong dragon blood in the form of semi-vestigial wings and inherent magic (Sorcerer, dragon blood). Of course this meant no family and she had to be raised by the tribes elder, and basically lived like a priestess/princess. Until the other kobold tribes learned, and then tensions started rising to see which clan leader would get to make strong blooded eggs with her.
She fled, and found herself in the outside world she knew nothing about. A world that hates 2 things.
Dragons and Arcane spellcasters.
She managed to find a party to group with, thankfully, somewhat falling into the care of a desert prince sorcerer who basically vouched for her despite not knowing her.
The party came across a group of orcs, she almost got possessed by a fragment of an ancient dragon soul in a dragon tooth necklace, and then at level 4, we found the party in a cave dungeon thing with a slime that did Con damage. In particular, in one attack against her, 10 con damage. She did not have that much con.

We talkin' about kobolds we've played in Tabletop now?

I played one once. I played him in the only campaign that's been seen through from beginning to end.

He was a rogue who had led the life of a highwayman, and was trying to find a cure for his sister's illness, as she's the only family he had left after their den was raided by adventurers hunting a dragon when he was a hatchling. In seeking out an ancient artifact for a mage's guild in exchange for their help, the artifact got him caught up in one of Vecna's schemes; he was attempting to meld the evil/neutral outer planes together to stage a takeover, and the artifact drew him into this chimeric world.

That's where he started. I played him with some of the traditional kobold stereotypes; too attached to his own skin, suspicious of everyone, proud, fickle. It resulted in a lot of interesting party drama, particularly one heated argument with the minotaur over loyalty.

He got along great with the party's sorcerer, though. A tiefling girl who specialized in fire magic. Of course, once the opportunity arose, they had a few too many drinks and got herded into a bedroom together by the cheeky monk in the party. There was a fade-to-black after the kobold drunkenly inquired as to the purpose of "breasts"...

Shit got out of control from here. Asmodeus got involved, gave us a tip on how to open up a portal to a good-aligned plane. In seeking support, we realized we were at the palace of motherfucking Bahamut himself. The God of dragons took a keen interest in my kobold, who decided to swallow his fear and pride and ask Bahamut to cure his sister's illness, if we put a stop of Vecna.

Long story short, we did (through some of the most unlikely nat 20 rolls I've ever seen, like holy shit), and Bahamut rewarded my kobold's dedication by turning him into a golden dragon. So my ex-kobold basically spent the rest of his post-campaign days giving his tiefling wife the big dragon donger and siring a family with her.
