remember when i told you my netbook got wifi here but it wouldn't connect? and it was just my iphone that can't get wifi here?
well my netbook apparently sees the signal just barely and i was able to find out why i couldn't connect to it from it, it's cause it uses some new encryption so if i unlock the wifi with no password it works, so i can use my slow af netbook from my couch or bed which is neat
dunno why my iphone doesn't get it, it's honestly easier to post here with it since its like 3 times faster than the netbook, the dumb thing literally lags when you type into it, i see the sentences complete a few seconds after i typed them out in the qr

Yeah it's a bit of a bummer, but even so I do not think iphones deserve the hate they get from all you computer nerds. Or maybe they do. You can probably sell your five for a hundred or so and get a one plus or whatever I am not that well versed on the cheapest android phones but that would be a lot more fun for you I think. I was very close to getting a note 7, dodget a bullet there. You won't need tethering in a month or so but it is nice to use in areas with no wifi, on the road and stuff.

tried it over 7 times different ways. turns out this specific android phone is obscure af and not popular at all so people don't bother rooting it, so there is very little info on how to go about it anywhere. it's an htc evo design 4g, quite a cheap phone it was just 60 dollars when i got it new back in 2013 so i'm not surprised. oh well it could have been pretty rad to run it into an extender, I got the idea, looked it up and apparently this is something you can do if you manage to root the device.. maybe i should look for another android device, there's probably another one somewhere here..

Well, my "dream" job would be Forensic Analyst and would require a lot of lab work on (I'm assuming) organic material to find evidence to use in court. Ballistics Analysts is pretty much the same thing, lab work and all, but you're analysing bullet casings or other objects left at the scene.

Okay so you would be in the lab and would not investigate crime scenes. That's still pretty cool, and much less messy. Although you do say organic material so it could be pretty messy, probably a lot of bodily fluids. Ballistics seems a little boring, except for the part where you get to fire the gun once to get another bullet to analyze.

I got tired of correcting people so I just agreed, but Crime Scene Investigators are something else. If forensics doesn't work out, I can try for CSI, but if not, border patrol is hiring in my area. (Big leap, I know.)

It makes forensic analysis all the more important as juries become more demanding. Either option is good. Not too sure how much long term job security you will have as a border patrol agent, the wall will be finished in a few years and my guess is they will layoff seventy five percent. But you would get to drive around off road all day and maybe play on four wheelers so that wouldn't be so bad.
