Fire has been known for a really, really long time. So as you can see, if stuff doesn't get invented, then things just won't happen. And technological advancements speed of exponentionally. You can live like 3,4 million years in the stone age without fire, but when one civilization invents something critical and it doesn't get lost to time, then they will be at your front door in just a few thousand years.
Or in other words: We were just so far advanced in comparision to the rest of the world because it's just a tiny step from the invention of a few critical technologies (along with the right resources (and that are not just minerals)) to a superpower that spans the globe. 6000-4000 years is nothing if you compare it to several millions of years. Developing technology is chance a lot of the time. However I don't want to say that it is entirely based on chance. As I said before, resources, geographic position and philosophy all help to let science thrive. However if you grow up under great conditions, such as higher middle class family do, then the IQ of blacks quickly go far above the average IQ of an American citizen and get fairly close to that of other whites in the same position. On average of course. There is still a big variance in both the population of whites and the population of blacks, so a white person can be more intelligent as a black just as a black can be more intelligent as a white. Unfortunately, there is not at all a clear cut.
But given several generations of upper middle-class life of blacks, I would assume that their IQ comes up to about the same as whites of the same population.

If you are thinking intelligence, then I can show you studies that show the opposite, or at least make it impossible to come to a clear conclusion.
I get that DNA is everything that makes a person up, not just appearance, but I think you have to consider that education for everyone has not been around for long yet and only a fairly small amount of privileged people used to have access to education not too long ago. In many parts of the world, it even still is that way.
Even more so, before the industrial revolution, people primarily lived on the countryside doing farmwork or whatever. Not even reading was mandatory for most of the last 2000 years. And during industrial revolution, they still lived under miserable conditions. It's only recently that people have been getting better.
While I would argue that the conditions in the western would were still superior to that of Africa (although I don't actually know about that), I still think that the difference could not have been big enough to actually make for a genetical make-up in the brain.
However all whites were subjected to a colder climate and all blacks to a warmer climate. So it seems sensible to me that their skin color changed much easier than the makeup for their brains. There might be a difference in intelligence though, but it can't be big.
And if the intelligence is not that big difference that catapulted us to the front, then what specific genetical makeup was it?
I am still more for us having a better environment and some luck.

I have never heard of black schools before, but I would say that the idea of black schools is fundamentally flawed. If blacks are generelly less wealthy than whites and the assumption that poor people are generally less intelligent is correct, then you would have on average more dumb kids in a school, which in turn lowers the learning standard, while in turn normal schools get more white people who come from wealthier families and have a higher learning standard by default. So by this logic, I would assume that black schools only caused blacks to fall even further behind than they already were.

But maybe I didn't understood the whole concept to begin with. After all, I have never heard of it before, not being an American and all.
