I'm not sure if you understand exactly how and why cellulite forms. Cellulite forms when fat deposits push through layers of connective tissue in the butt/thighs/arms etc.. Connective tissue can be weakened by more than excess fat, they can also be weakened by things like hormones (Such as having less estrogen or insulin), a sedentary lifestyle, poor circulation, poor diet, and lack of excerise/muscle tone.

So, for example, if two women had the same weight and fat distribution, but one of them was a smoker (smoking causes poor circulation), then it would be possible for one them to have more cellulite than the other.

When I say weak, I really meant "thin". I was thinking about how since it's so rare for men to have cellulite, I decided it was jusr down to having genetics that cause you to have thinner skin like a woman.... or something.


Women have less muscle in relation to fat, thinner skin/less connective tissue, and more subcutaneous fat, a different skin makeup that makes it easier for cellulite to visible, and more hormonal changes. Because of all these factors against their favor, 90% of women have cellulite. While men have more connective tissue, and produce more testosterone- testosterone causes the production of protein, protein causes denser connective tissue/thicker skin layer.
