Technically Vets are required by law to report suspected animal abuse anyway and they have the authority to refuse the return of a pet if they believe they are either in danger or a danger to the public. They are also required to document evidence of suspected abuse including everything from treatment given to photographs of injuries. If she did her job she should have plenty of records to hand over to police and the police have the resources to reverse look up a phone number and get a warrant based on the evidence given by the Vet.

Yes because writing two short green posts is really all that time consuming. I write green myself, I can 5 posts in a half hour if I got the story planned out already.
