I fucking love the puzzles, the combat - inventory... i think they had the right idea with inventory: start small, make you manage your gear, and eventually let you build up that monstrous pile of stuff.

Also: anyone else noticed the recipies on posters? Three ingredients that, when mixed, make top-tier foods. The salted mushroom riceballs are amazing at this point in the game.

I would have if mine wasn't DOA (guess I was one of the 'lucky' few to get a defective one) and didn't have to wait for EBgames to get me a replacement. I wanted to enjoy the Switch but there is such a massive backlash of problems with the initial wave of systems that I'm steering clear until the inevitable slim model that fixes it. I get that this is typical of new console launches but it wasn't this bad with the GBA or 3DS, I can't justify $300 +$60 for one game that may or may not work so I bought a shotgun instead.

It's so-so from what I see. People love the game it has but it's hard to tell if it's just the hype and euphoria of buying a new console or legit THIS WAS THE BEST $360 +tax I EVER SPENT. Functionally, the system is looking great if you're lucky to have a functional one but people are miffed over the total bullshit prices outside of US and Japan. Given the raw quantity of failures in so may parts of the system you'd be extremely lucky to have an entirely working one. I don't think we'll know how people really feel until another two weeks to test the sales and response once and if the buyer's remorse really kicks in.
