Clovis was a twink before the change, and he probably had a somewhat femme sounding voice.

What Clovis' cronies are probably noticing are the changes in bone structure. When women have wide hips, they naturally sway back and forth while they walk, and Clovis' hips got wider and waist narrower after the transformation. She would have to be actively trying not to sway her hips when she walks, and without lots of practice this would make her look awkward when she walks. She'd probably also have to actively try to sound more like a man, because even a slight shift in pitch could potentially give her away.

As a guy Clovis was a twink but didn't really care because he had power. As a girl, she is so girly that she has to actively work just to pass for the twinkish guy that she was before.
