Literally only reason to buy consoles are to get exclusive games.

It's written right in the picture

Better console specs → friendlier to 3rd-party developers → more exclusives and ports → larger user base → even more developers are interested in the console → even more games

>as long as the government pretends to pay us we will pretend to work
>we have so much food that if you piled it all up the pile would be so huge that it would reach god, but since god does not exist neither does the food

>a policeman spots a man aimlessly walking around town, and yells to see his documents. Frightened the man rummages through his pockets to find an id and a piece of paper falls out. The policeman picks up the paper to inspect it "urine analysis...what kind of foreign name is that? You'll have to come with me." Then he reads further "sugars: none, protein: none, fat: none. Oh my apologies comrade, you're free to go."

>an american engineer visiting the soviet union was riding on the train from Leningrad to Moscow while listening to music with a transistor radio. The basic idea is that all humans are as obsessed with anarcho-libertarianism as they are, and thus after government is removed, they'll tirelessly work to maintain anarcho-libertarianism. So they'll all rise up and coordinate their actions without any organization to stop people from creating a corporate government, even though libertarians are usually corporate dick-sucks IRL.
>>
>>8017597
>>8022619
I guess I didn't really answer your question. I don't know how it's supposed to work. There's supposed to be private courts, which will resolve corporate disputes... somehow. So one company hires a judge who rules whatever they want, but the other company hires a different judge who says whatever they want, and there's no system of jurisdiction.

I'm pretty sure every color is taken by some goddamn flavor or another.

It's funny because every different philosophy is "After we get rid of the government, life will be like <X>." The only difference between anarcho-capitalism and anarcho-communism is how they think people will behave when there's no cops.

That said, I think anarcho-transhumanism would cover genetically engineered furries and dragons.

They hash out treaties and deals with other countries, so they're frequently part of theories about selling us out, letting UN black helicopters invade, giving up our sovereignty to the aliens, etc.

Trump buys into that stuff, so he won't even talk with them, even though their main job is to help the President make non-retarded foreign policy decisions.

>capcha: ROAD privata
>>
>>8041007
One of the scary-things you probably heard about was the Trans-Pacific Partnership treaty. People kept freaking out about how it was negotiated in private (just like every treaty) and therefore was secret, even though the full text was made public in 2015. So they kept saying it had all these scary parts because they were too lazy to look up what it said.

(The closest thing to a scary clause was that it would make other countries adhere to the West's copyright laws so they stop stealing our shit as much)
>>

>>
>>8042478
Correct, at least to my knowledge. I'm not a lawyer but I've heard this from lawyer acquaintances.

It's funny because people used this as an excuse to vote Trump. Trump is an opponent of Net Neutrality, and the new head of the FCC is trying to abolish it. (Previously, the FCC is what stopped efforts to ditch it)

lololol I hate everything
>>
>>8042727
not to turn this into a Trump hate thread but I have to say I've been really unimpressed. This whole shit with accusing Obama of wiretapping him without having any evidence whatsoever really upset me. You never accuse someone of a crime unless you have evidence they did it.

Now I know a Trump supporter would say to me why does this bother you, in what way have you been directly effected by this, and I would have to answer directly not at all. But it really bothers me to see our president act this way, it erodes my confidence in the institution and makes democracy look like a joke to the rest of the world. I don't like it when dictators like the president of China can point to America and say "look at that, I told you democracy doesn't work, aren't you glad you live under the communist party of China where we'd never allow an idiot like that to run the country."

It really does bother me.
>>
>>8043367
>implying they wouldn't do that regardless because the chinese government controls the flow of information throughout the country anyway
>>
>>8043950
It bothers me that they can say it and I don't have any refutation. America is the empire of liberty we should be setting the example to the rest of the world of why freedom is the only way, so that everyone can agitate in their homelands for the same freedoms we take for granted.

Instead we're showing them the pitfalls of that freedom, electing a demagogue. The same pitfall that destroyed Athenian democracy. I don't want to see history repeat itself.

I gotta ask, why do trump voters care a lot about Hillary allegedly being corrupt, but don't care a tiny bit about Trump openly being corrupt?

Back in the days, the Republicans made sure Jimmy Carter sold his peanut farm, because owning a farm was too big a conflict of interest. But now owning multiple high-level corporations is totally fine? Straight-up giving government money to your own corporations and pocketing the profit? Dude's charging the Secret Service rent for protecting his fat ass at Trump Tower.
>>
>>8044783
He's totally not crashing or burning.

That's the whole problem. He's demonstrating that you can break all these rules and nothing bad will happen to you as long as your party's in charge. The Republicans will attack Democrats no matter what, and defend Republicans no matter what. The standards don't matter anymore, which means a lot of shit we thought were rules aren't rules now. This is bad.

>Dude's charging the Secret Service rent for protecting his fat ass at Trump Tower.
not a Trump supporter and I was annoyed about that as well but I read he's not the first to do it, and its just their procedure. During his first term FDR used his mansion in new york as an office and the secret service rented out their offices in the building from him.

Still I don't think its particularly proper, I agree.

I really don't know, so I'm going to go out on a limb here.
I think it has more to do with sensationalism and media bias. Sensationalism, as in media stories covering social drama (usually ad hominem in relation to politics) that doesn't matter. Most viewers love sensationalism and personalities, which means less weight is given to the policies and ideas of the candidates. Media bias, as in what news corporations and sites choose to cover to gain views, and what viewers choose to create their echo chamber.
People can construct a personality onto an anime character and call it a waifu, likewise, people can project their disposition onto a candidate. Attachment to a constructed image is a human thing. See the /trash/ catalog for evidence.
People like the construction of a person with no shame in what he says. People hate the construction of a person who tries to hide corruption. Whether the latter is actually the case for Hillary is up for debate, but what is not for debate is that many Trump voters had that image of Hillary.
>>
>>8045447
Conflict of interest stuff, for one. Divulging finances through tax returns, divesting your financial ties, that sort of thing. (Trump promised he'd turn his corporations over to a "blind trust" while in office, but hasn't)

In contrast, Obama sold every last share of stock he owned and put all his money into federal bonds. If he bankrupted the government, he'd have lost everything.

Others off the top of my head: Illegally coordinated with his SuperPAC, used the Trump foundation as a slush fund, pumped campaign funds into his corporations, advertising his products from the white house news room, etc.

Then there's procedural stuff like the way he sets up his executive orders. There's an established way to do EOs, which prior presidents stuck to. Even things like the front and margins are set up in a certain way. The idea here is to get lawyers and experts in the field involved, so the EO is written properly and the apparatus of state is prepared to implement it in the intended way. Trump's thrown all that out the window, which is the reason his EOs are causing such clusterfucks. He's ignoring the process of enacting an EO, so nobody knows what the fuck to do. Then he acts like his departments are fucking it up on purpose by not reading his mind. (This part isn't breaking the law, but it's another accepted practice he's throwing out the window because nobody can stop him.)

(source: https://theintercept.com/2017/02/03/trump-muslim-ban-executive-order-violated-executive-order-about-executive-orders/ )

Oh, and the white house is using private email servers run by the RNC. That's actually fairly normal, but they spent a year saying Hillary needs to go to jail for doing it, so you'd think they'd pretend to care about that for at least a few months. Oh well.
>>
>>8045731
I was actually referring to this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1MbFesSC7M

asking a foreign power to illegally hack the DNC's confidential files in the hopes they find something embarrassing that might help him win the election. That was truly an unprecedented move, a presidential candidate asking another country to break the law to interfere with our democratic process. If there was any illegality at the DNC, which btw there wasn't, it should be investigated by the FBI.

You remember this whole thing about Clinton using a private email server for confidential emails that was harped on so much during the election? Pence has already used a private email server for confidential emails while acting as vice president, great job.

sure, but its certainly something that should never have happened. Its not the way a presidential candidate, and now a president, should act.

>I don't remember anyone talking about this during the campaign
it was talked about quite a lot, there was also a lot talked about saying how much larger the reaction would have been if Clinton had said something like it, and people were not making enough note of the significance of what he said since they were just writing it off as "retarded thing trump said during the campaign #234750"

but it was indeed significant, especially now that we're discovering how members of his team were in close contact with the russian government

I wouldn't say I'm a Trump supporter, but I'm a European righty. And this accusation seems like weak shit compared to the stuff the left in Europe tends to sling at us. One guy I would have voted for has been murdered, someone else I respect has been exiled (she was a black African immigrant, usually the sort the left worships), people get dragged into court over inconsequential bullshit.

Honestly, Obama wiretapping Trump doesn't sound unreasonable. It sounds like exactly the sort of shit the left would pull here. And around here the left definitely has selective outrage over the things they consider unacceptable from the right, versus the stuff they consider acceptable for themselves. I've legit heard people say that it was good that that politician was murdered, for instance. And that the other one was exiled.

So as far as I'm concerned, until the right starts murdering and exiling leftists, we have a lot of catching up to do in the "bothersome" category.

>makes democracy look like a joke to the rest of the world

You know, I never understood this argument, either. It makes the mistake of assigning a Western viewpoint to the non-Western world, which I find is something the left does very often. The truth is, Trump is a lot more like the leaders they have in the non-Western world than your Obama's and Trudeau's. It's exactly why you don't like him. And why the hell would the non-Western world think democracy is a joke when it gives people the same kind of leader they already have? Honestly, a large part of the non-Western world thinks democracy is a joke because they perceive it to be weak, by which they mean its consensus-driven nature.

I think the left collectively has a fundamental misunderstanding of non-Western cultures. You have fooled yourself into thinking that people completely unlike you are your allies against people a lot like you, but slightly different.
>>
>>8045595
Uhm... are you accusing Trump of committing a crime you have no evidence for while also accusing him of accusing Obama of committing a crime he has no evidence for?

You do realize you're contradicting yourself, right?
