Poppy O'Possum is real good for having fun characters and an interesting fantasy world building with above average art for a webcomic.

Negatives: Long delays. Writing and pacing gets weak at times.

A number of characters are bi, gay, or trans which makes a lot angry, though to me it seems to be just how the creator is and not forced in. It does make the sheep/wolf story seem to be more than it was intended though.

It's rare that the artist is also the work of art. I think van Meegeren unwittingly achieved exactly that.

Well, the problem here is that much hasn't happened yet. Almost 80 pages in and we've gotten a back story and a walk to the store. And also a dying bird. Well, it is only 1-3 panels per update, so that's understandable.
The pacing isn't much of a problem, I personally don't mind it. As long as you have some happenings eventually.
And for story time - sure. Though /co/ might be a better place for it.

It's not that great. The "story" is pretty boring and it's all over the place. It goes from being a slice of life to shitty anime-tier story about how the world is basically just D&D for Gods. There's this human that gets turned into a dog by a magic griffon and it's obvious that the dog is Rick Griffin's self insert. Grape and Peanut almost disappear entirely from the comics just so King gets more time. Hilariously, King marries another dog and has puppies with her despite technically being human. Grififn is a giant retard that constantly introduces new characters to shake up the story then immediately write them out or forgets about them entirely. A bunch of husbando-tier guys like Satau and Jata get written in and written out in a handful of comics. The Spirit Dragon and the Griffon get written out as well but make brief appearances when Griffin wants to cause drama for no reason.
Sasha and Jess are waifu-material.

Read it, and if you like it, keep reading. But don't force yourself to read it because it gets pretty retarded at times. It's good when it's just a slice of life and not trying to be autistic D&D Rick Griffin Self Insert Hour.

Though, that's kind of nonsense in its own right, because I've heard PLENTY of complaints about that fact from heterosexuals who feel uncomfortable with people flouting their sexuality and/or relationships in public. In fact, that strawman moment in the comic has happened to me for kissing my gf in the presence of a friend, because he's an insecure faggot who doesn't like to be reminded of the fact that he is alone.

So yeah, I get the complaint, but it's not like that shit is exclusive to gays. They just get it on top of prejudice already directed at them. And at least in Europe, they get most of that from Muslims brought here by the same parties that championed gay rights, who are now crying crocodile tears about the gay vote jumping ship to the (far) right.

The Realm of Kaerwyn is pretty good. It's got a fairly substantial mix of human/furry characters.

I think it's based on some furry RP thing, but I'm not 100% sure.

Most if not all of the comics hosted on Katbox are furry webcomics with varying degrees of NSFW-ness and varying degrees of being good or not.

Anyway, yeah, America's silly supergenre has basically ensured that there is no such thing as a unified Western comics market. Americans, both readers and businessmen, assume that anything that isn't superheroes automatically isn't a proper comic. How fucking weird is that, that everything outside of an insanely specific genre is considered "underground"?

What's worse, due to their cultural influence they're rubbing that shit off on the rest of the world. So while the American market is closed to anything non-cape, especially foreign, the foreign markets let capes influence them.

Essentially WWII saved Europe from this in the first place, because without it American comics would have been a lot more popular. That, and the post-war moral panic that killed the attempts of getting superhero comics off the ground, then. People thought they were too violent and sexual. And for once, I agree with the moral guardians.
