honestly, I'm glad you decided to update a page whenever you're done with it, because experience tells that sticking to a schedule is what causes broken wrists. Especially for solo/freelance comic artists such as yourself, it's better this way and it's important to stay healthy. Though, you can decide to update pages on a longer schedule (eg. 1 page monthly), which helps you build a buffer of comic pages that come after the current page. The only problem with that is it's susceptible to procrastination :p

I've built up a headcanon where they select certain members of their social circle to be their 'groomer' and vice-versa. This is a jealously guarded and intimate social process between two Baxxid, as it involves the shaving down of armor plates, leaving the groomed vulnerable. It would almost be a function provided by parents, older siblings and, later, mates.
Am I way off?
Is an armor shaving more like us going to the hair-dresser?

Yinglets: these fuckin' retarded ratbirds. The general thrust seems to be that they're a collective of wet matches, but I hold that they simply mature intellectually at the *same* rate as humans do, despite their presumably lower lifespan and demonstrably lower life expectancy.

Part of the reason, I think, for their stupidity, is that they spend the majority of their lives in what human parents refer to as the 'obliviously suicidal' years, AKA the time when a human child is expected to be unwittingly trying to kill themselves roughly 100% of the time.
Few survive this period, but are sexually mature and therefore may or may not pass on their genes.

A lot of this I can't say anything about without spoiling stuff, except that the Baxxid, before "civilization," got most of their bone-scraping done naturally as they burrowed through underground passages, and can easily just rub up against a hard rock for a while to smooth themselves out somewhere.

But they do "groom" each other in modern times, which is often necessary for the spines and swoops that have become popular in recent generations, and is a big part of their communal bonding. Some do it especially well and do that for the community often as a sort of part-time occupation.
