If the Holocaust happened then how do Jews still exist?

1. there were many jews living in areas not controlled by the nazis, particularly in America and the soviet union

2. while the final solution was the ultimate goal the nazi regime collapsed before being able to complete their plans.

3. many jews were used as slave labor in the later stages of the war, most were killed from bombings and whatnot or were executed by the SS, but some managed to survive

4. Some jews were successfully able to hide out for the entirety of the war or escape nazi occupied europe to neutral countries like Spain

It's also important to remember that the holocaust wasn't just about jews. 6 million jews were killed but 11 million PEOPLE were killed altogether. The nazis were every bit as zealous in hunting down, imprisoning, then executing gypsies, known homosexuals, people who were ideologically opposed to Naziism, and some invalids.
