Soon enough you can no longer criticize anyone for their diet consisting of hot pockets or ben & jerry's.

Before they can instantly cure it they will probably make a few important steps that do a lot to prevent it.

1. Pinpoint the types of gut bacteria that lead to the desire to eat unhealthy foods.
2. Put something in the water to ensure the gut biome is healthier and causes you to want to healthy foods. This will also do a lot to fight depression and other illnesses.
3. Put other supplements like highly advanced steroids into the water supply to also keep weight down and improve overall health.

You don't even have to get into genetic manipulation. What I've written so far will do a lot.
