Ankha is one of those characters who I see getting depicted as thicc/fat in fan art so many times I start thinking that's what they actually look like in whatever series they're in. And of course, I go to check, and get disappointed every time.

Yeah, she isn't really obviously thicc. But she does have rather small, stubby limbs which make the rest of her body look bigger. And while her chest is completely flat, she has some kinda wide hips with her pear-shaped body.

You'd think given the porn of her, but not really. Villagers in the game don't have unique personalities, they go off a predefined template, so Ankha is about as interesting as Freya or Olivia or any of the other girls with the "Snooty" personality template.

Well, their broad strokes personalities are template based. Each villager does favor certain dialogue trees or interactions with other villager types, so on some level there is some uniqueness between Snooty villagers, it's just rarely meaningful enough to say they have a truly unique personality.

Animal Crossing is a deceptively simplistic game because there are MANY RNGs at play in the game, many of which apply to the villagers specifically.

I'll admit the Ankha images are bad examples of Boogie's line art being better, but something about the shading and the details he puts on the faces on his colored pictures look really gross, while on the line art, these details are down played or just aren't there. These two of Meloetta that he drew would be a better example.

Yeah, I REALLY could of worded that better. My main problem with him is that sometimes the faces look uncanny and that the shading can be over done at times so that the characters ended up looking too gray. He is pretty talented, but bad faces can make otherwise good pictures unfappable.
