painting with plain colors this figures is easy, just use the most basic methods used in warhammer paainting miniatures
(sorry for my bad enlgish)

Apliying eye decals are not easy and you need to know how to do it but you can always paint the eyes with a black dot and a little one as shine/reflex effect

As I said knowing the most basic stuff about wargame miniature painting is very usefull for do this things, nowadays you have nice quality paints just try to not apply too much paint, put some wather in it

*remember to clean with wather and soap the pieces after apply the white primer spray and after that paint it

Figures from popular shows and games will usually get new batches as long as there's a market, but for anything else you pretty much have to order something from that first or second batch, because that's all that's ever going to be made. These are a kind cast from resin. All the pieces are sent to you, and you paint it yourself and put it together.
Before painting, you use a primer to make sure the paint sticks properly: paints have trouble staying on resin without it.
More serious hobbyists use an airbrush, but handbrushing can look just fine too. Paints are mostly either acrylics, enamels or lacquers. I'm trying to decide which to use for the best finish for mine.
Putty is used to fill gaps where the resin cast didn't. Better casts will have less bubbles, and will fit together better.
A drill and wire can be used to reinforce joints that might see more stress than others, so it doesn't fall apart.

Anyone here into actually making these things? I did stuff like this for a while with clay but it's so time-consuming to actually get faces looking good with paper clips and needles and shit for tools. Thinking about getting back into Blender so I can just get a nice 3D printer and WRRRR things into existence.

Bureido is the fuckin' best. So underappreciated since he can't really advertise in English. I do wish he'd branch out and make some hard-bodied dolls or even just statues sometime, but the faces and mouths he does alone are incredible.

>>7849839As a tabletop miniature player I know your pain, I done some hard modifications to miniatures and it's a lot of time, to be true the future is 3d printing, right now is expensive and the quality can be better but in a couple of years once wou will have the 3d model you can share the model or sell it, also easy to do diferent positions, modifications or diferent models from the base body, you can even do articulated dolls, right now learning 3d sculpting sounds like a great hobby for furry fans, also Blender is free and cheap VR headseds will be here in a couple of years

one great thing 3d artist should do and it will be asy is anthro heads for Figma, Boss Fight Studio blanks or 1/6 dolls, imagine you have the head of Peg Pete already printed (glue head and hair with diferent color and paint white eyes with a black dot on it), just add it to the ball joint of the Figma body and bom! everyone can have a cheap anthro character!

There are other pre painted colors you can get (bronze and xeno) but there weren't any big pictures of them. You're supposed to get an unpainted kit that you put together and paint, though.

Yeah, you can fuck them, that's what they're for. Again, they don't make really good decorations because of the doll joints and probably can't stand on their own.

I've seen dozens of these on that hotglue board, I'm pretty sure japs seel DIY kits and clothes, but they're all human, no kemono. I guess it boils down to making a head and painting the whole thing properly, but it's still a non-trivial task.

Here's what I think's happened. K-Line have showcased the figure before (http://www.k-line.cc/k-l2015.html), so e2046 put it up on their site as placeholder to be ready for when it's available. Now at JMoF 2017 the figure was done and available for purchase, so e2046 should have been able to get their hands on a kit to recast it. So there shouldn't be much more waiting.
