Considering the fact that the grand majority of this board it is just 3 reply shitpost threads, worrying about fat threads seems hardly relevant.

I feel there's two many right now, sure (immobile and belly threads don't need to be separate, and the pearchan thing really doesn't need to exist, but that one was an anon's ignorant mistake), but 4 seems like a reasonable number in the long run; straight, gay, and drawn & IRL version of both, because those are all logical splits. Trust me, you shouldn't try to compress it into a single thread, 2D furry fappers don't want 3DPG and straights and gays don't get along. I remember the early days of this board and the original combined fat threads were an absolute disaster.


Further, things like inflation & expansion threads, boob thread, etc are separate fetishes and can have their own threads.


Really, a fat fetish isn't something that's sustainable on its own, you can't just throw drawn, real, fat women and fat men in one thread and expect it to work just because of the fat fetish. Most require a specific gender or medium.
The fat is just an aesthetic component.

Much like how /d/ has many varieties of futa threads and /trash/ in general has many types of furry threads, because the state of being a futa, furry or fatty are base components that supplement the over arching interest.
