This. Permanent markings are scared skin tissue either by heat or, very recently, by cold. Both are supposed to be painful.

Just think of it as fur paint. Then your autism won't compel you to frogpost about it.

This is a complaint thread guys, it's nothing personal against the things you like. You can like them, just some of us don't and think those things are dumb.

Like, a shine spot, overly bright sheens.
Some animals really don't have sheen or shine to their fur/hair/feathers. etc. though so in most cases it just looks wrong. Regardless of animal type, a shiny coat is rarely all over their body and its ridiculous to see a "fur" character that shines like oiled latex. It bothers me because it completely covers up any hope of texture or quality.
If you want latex shine, or anime shine spots, it's better to stick with skin or clothing.

Why would they have regular fur on their crotches anyways? Have most furry artists not seen an actual animal? A hairy dick (which many artists seem to unwittingly draw by making it the same color as the body) would be extremely uncomfortable for both parties, and fur on the vulva would basically burn the skin off your dick. Not to mention fur going all the way up to the anus, just thinking of the consequences makes me shudder.
