Where would be a good place to start posting and selling art?

FurAffinity would work. The site is horrendously outdated, design and functionality-wise, but it's the most populated.

There's also Inkbunny, but the site is overrun with pedophiles and child porn, as the site was created after FA banned such content.

There's a few other big furry art sites, like SoFurry, FurryNetwork, Weasyl, etc. but none of them are anywhere near as populated as FA.

Inkbunny certainly has a focus on that type of stuff though, but a lot of people still pay tons for commissions on there even for regular ass furry porn. The best bet I've seen for getting business is just spreading yourself across all the sites, it's not that hard to copy and paste an ad.

The easiest way is finding a niche theme and exploiting it, otherwise just remember to namefag and sign things until people take notice.
At least that's how I think it works.

Also, honestly, your commission prices would depend on a lot of things: how much do you enjoy drawing? How easy is it for you to draw? How much time does it take to draw things? How much money do you need/want? How much do you think would be reasonable to a buyer?

Decide on all those questions and you should have a better idea of what your prices should be

its important to draw a whole lot of pieces and make it easily taggable. right now you want people to be able to find out that you exist. draw some basic, mass market appeal shit to attract a larger crowd. your goal should be scraping in views when people search for something. you arent big enough to have your own following yet, so leech off of others. draw as many "big name" furbait girls/guys as possible. krystal, renamon, lopunny, blaziken, furry races from mmos, the zootopia cast, toriel, etc. those are all ideas i got just from scrolling through the catalog here.
