Don't go straight for the vault door, try one of the areas next to it. Have them blast it with a fire move then an ice move. You may need to repeat this a few times. The quick change in temperature should be able to buckle any weakened areas in the metal.
Then melting your way through the rock and exiting should be a little easier.
