That journal is a real testament to the old rpgs, although it gets really confusing the more entries you accumulate. If you want to try playing it in the future, my advice would be to roleplay. Get immersed in your personal quest and let the world happen around you for better or for worse. I still remember the story I built for my first character.

That's a valid fear. For a long time I let all the little inadequacies I see in my drawings stop me altogether though.

I think it's best to find a balance. accept some of the bad habits as long as you're aware of them. You don't need to fix them right away if it's going to stop you from drawing completely.

Most likely. Faster strokes when drawing might also help.
Not the kind of strokes little mouse are doing, though. Those will make your lines all kinds of jumpy.

Yeah, that was a big one I noticed. I'm just trying to find a balance so that she doesn't have the crazy exaggerated (or "thicc") proportions, but she's also not a 2 x 4 either.

I drew a lot as a child and some as a teenager but never took it seriously and eventually gave up. The mice you see in these threads are the vast majority of the drawings I've done in the last ten years. Although I don't think I've improved these past three threads, making at least one doodle every day has made me feel a lot more comfortable.

As for the really talented anons I think they probably just doodle here to have fun or take a breather from whatever project they've been working on. They're all really nice so don't let them keep you from doodling yourself or anything.
