I didn't even consider larger mammals being gamers, that would make sense that bears and such would enjoy video entertainment. That does make me wonder though, would there be a difference in the percentage of prey versus pred gamers? Perhaps prey would only play more timid non-violent games, and preds would indulge in more action orientated things. Or maybe violent games were banned by pro-prey governments, in the fear that they would trigger preds to resort to their savage ways?

Hmmm, it's an interesting question. For the game store, I would think that you would see more mammals with dextrous paws, especially if you're talking about warhammer type tabletop games that you have to paint your army. Maybe not so many of the smaller rodents, since most of their goods have to be made on a simplified pattern because of the size.

For the arcade, I think that you might see more of the hard animals, I'd imagine that the lights and loud noises would be maddening for pred species, especially big cats or other stealthy hunters. Maybe they would use specialized noisemakers for games, ones that only produce noise in a narrow frequency range, so that it's less obnoxious for them?

Color vision is another consideration, depending on how acute your color perception is you may not be able to play the same game very well. Maybe they would have a simple color blindness mode that you can switch on, that would use a higher contrast palette. Would that affect pred vs prey playing against each other? Another thing would maybe affect video gaming would be screen refresh rate, different species might have different framerates that have to be maintained to give the illusion of motion.

Well while any interaction between RF and Beaver is pretty obvious to sort out, I do wonder what other OC/'sona interaction old RF would have...

With VRBit I'd say the easy guess would be the two of them having a sit-down meeting/editing session about RF's writing.
Zoosonas like Inky or Rose I'd say it'd be RF literally leaning over their shoulders, backseat driving their art attempts (maybe Visiti's 'sona too; "Ooo! Now ship Gideon with her! No, wait, scratch that, ship him with HER!")
With Canidae, probably something involving the two of them and cake (sharing, ruining, stealing, popping out of, whatever).
OCs like the Shorty Squad are also pretty obvious, as Inky has already crossed those streams non-canonically before.

This is still my least favorite thing. The only reason Byron made it non-domesticated was to force the artists to use new or different species for characters and so the audience wouldn't unconsciously think it was another Disney dog movie. If we're doing world building it's kinda weird that only non-domesticated mammals exist

Decisively improved. I saw yesterday you asked about your muzzles, but I wasn't able to answer in time.
One characteristic that you lacked was a sense of depth, meaning that a bunny or a wolf had almost the same muzzle, while in reality they are quite different. Now it is much better. The character on the right is a wolf, right? Because the ears tell me fox. If she is a fox, be careful, usually they have less squar-ish and more pointy noses, like you can see from pic related. Wolves, instead, have usually smaller ears.
The rest is quite good, though. Only a (very small) note, make the toes of the bunny a little more round.

Actually it makes sense.
The entire premise of Zootopia is the world without humans.
No humans = no domestication.
This is the main reason (they already chose to use a fox and a bunny much before, and this comes from Byron's love of Robin Hood).

The main difference between that pic and yours is that Nick's face is relaxed, so the upper lip sticks out a little.

That is the general idea I've seen, yes. Still there is not much difference (from a phenotype standpoint) between domesticated and not domesticated sheep and pigs.
On the other side, dogs and cats are much closer to humans (officially, word of God on why they aren't in the film) and had to be specifically bred to reach the forms they have today.

Zootopia had its unique evolution (I think Byron said something like this) so there is the possibility of losing tusks and shortening the fur, it's not such a big step (genetically speaking), without humans.

But, like I said, cats (as they are right now) required hundreds of generations of specific breeding to be in the forms they are today.
