Hi. I can actually shed some light.
Towergirls is a conjunction art project and choose your own adventure started by Gats. Him and some Anons on /v/ began postulating something more.. formal in the vein of "Save the Princess," an inconsistent pasttime that pops up there, being a mixture of Quest, porn, and art-fagging for fun. The original "Final" version was pic related.
It evolved further into a more fleshed out set.
Around that time, Towergirls (which is what the threads took as a name over Save the Princess) was exiled to /tg/ for not being vidya.
Then over the span of ~5 months,

were formed with Gats as art and direction lead, a mixture of Artists and idea guys worked together with him to make it a reality.
For 8 months or so, all was silent as Gats went about doing other things and the threads died out.
December 2015, Photo Anon, a random person, finished compiling everything he could find Towergirls and restarted the Development threads for Towergirls on /tg/ on Generation 4.
Around the same time, I also started up a recurring Towergirls thread here on /trash/, unaware of Photo Anon and company. Then I and other Anons with a love for Princesses great and smol found out and mostly migrated there, the threads here died last February or so.

While a bit nutty at first, autistic Janitors moved us to /trash/ on more than one occasion, we settled back in, finished Gen 4 and got into Gen 5.
Shit got slow.
Eversor shows up and loves the idea, through sheer force of will and art, becomes artistic lead and gen 5 wraps up before Summer. Up to now, we've also launched 2 Expansion charts and there's been another big drought around the 3rd for various reasons.

Something like castle crashers but less linear and with 3d models. Platforming exists but it would be kept to a minimum. Heavy rpg aspects, but instead of leveling up, you find better weapons and armor, which all have varying playstyles such as with magic or charisma

Like, Gats' gens were obviously waifu and fetish bait, but there was this slight sense of personality behind each of the princesses. 4 and 5 just feel empty and vapid, like there's nothing to (most of) the princesses besides whatever kink they're designed around.

Additionally, DP2 is superior to DP3 and anyone who disagrees has shit taste.

A few things I would change:
>variety in vocabulary is a good thing, but being too creative can sound corny and cheesy if you don't do it right. For example, "tongue-lube", "throat-slime"; saliva/spit is well enough.
>similar, try to have a cycle and subcycle of synonyms to rotate through, rather than using the same word over and over again. You used armor twice in a row at the end. At the other end, you don't need to use a different word every time. 3-5 words to describe the same thing work well enough.
