Who knew that doind job hunting when you actually have some experience and marketable skills is as upsetting (if not even more upsetting) as when you have none. First, the number of places I can apply too is significantly bigger so I have to make a choice where to go and I won't be able to quit in a month just because I didn't like it because it'll leave a questionable permanent record in my employment history.

Second, positions can be below my level, where people will ask me why did I go there, was I slacking all the time on my previous work place? Or they can be above my level, where I will fail the interview and people will ask me, was I slacking all the time on my previous work place? Geez I'm getting nervous again. I remember a couple years ago, I got so nervous before my job interview so I literally couldn't sleep.

note a few things
1) the rx 480 can be found for cheaper depending on the model, the 4gb card would be fine for 1080p, for higher resolutions you would want either the 8gb version, or a more powerful card like a gtx 1070, more video memory is used the higher resolution you play in, a 2gb card can do 1080p but some games may require more for 1080p, gta V for example can use up to 4gb of vram for absolute maxed out 1080p
2) pick a case that fits your requirements, and more importantly, how it looks. All a case has to do is have enough space for your components, a half height compact case cant hold a full height gpu, some compact cases have cooler height restrictions, some have limits on the length of a video card, the one i chose is a semi compact micro atx cube with a basement for the power supply, its got lots of room and its easy to build in
3) quality and trusted brands are a must, alot of first time builders who dont put much thought into their brands will often choose crappy power supplies or cheap forms of storage, the consequences of a used, off brand hard drive is losing your data, the consequence of a chinkshit power supply may be an actual housefire
4) always get a power supply at least 100W over your wattage requirements, power supplies cant always put out their rated output, that max power delivery is kind of like a short term burst, the more wattage you put near its limit and the lower its efficiency rating means more heat and possible wear on the components inside it, causing issues like voltage fluctuations, which can damage other parts over time
5) hunt for deals, sometimes ebay will have people selling stuff cheap, sometimes newegg will have shell shocker deals or promos so you can get stuff super cheap
6) ask questions, /g/ has /pcbg/ that will help you select parts for a build

ive ordered refurbed hdds before and had some that were just fine, light use cycles, ran good for years
and ive had others that sounded like blenders, had failure issues and loads of bad sectors

its not worth the risk when a new 1tb hdd can be under 60$ anyway

It already has some wear and tear so it might start to fail much earlier than a new one. Plus, "no bad sectors" sounds like a jape, it might have no bad sectors at all (e.g. it's fine and healthy) or it might have remapped bad sectors (e.g. it's prone to failure or had some damage). In both cases OS won't report any bad sectors, only SMART will.

Funny thing is that some comments say that their refurbished HDDs came with zeroed SMART, e.g. refurbisher erased info about HDDs previous failures.
