This is a nice beginning even if I've never been fond of 'get so drunk and do something dumb that you can't remember' thing but it does serve its purpose here.

I thought Nick's silver tongue whipping his gang into purpose was a nice scene, good use of smug fox. Surprised to see Jack though, I figured he was persona non grata in most fics but hey he's a cute bunny boi and I really like seeing the seedy underbelly of Zootopia having no qualms with predator and prey working together. Also great to see Honey, I read so very little with her and she IS a badger so that's just an all around crime. I hope nothing too horrible has happened to them but then again only the fox got his picture up so maybe they didn't get spotted or they're just lying low.

I have one major piece of feedback: with a fic like this, you kind of assume people know the main character by not properly introducing him, and you only give a word or two "beanpole, deer" about what species he is and what he's like. I think a lot of us know your beanie deer at this point, but other readers might not - even some people in the thread might not. I just felt a bit lost at the beginning of the story.

I absolutely love the look into Zootopian gaming and IM chat, right down to what the narrator thinks of various races in the game, even if a lot of modern MMORPG stuff is lost on me (Ultima Online born and raised).

That being said, I find myself wondering which world we'll be seeing these characters in - both? Just the game? The real world too? It might be a bit hopeful, but it gives me a dot hack vibe.

Critiques -
The biggets concern I see is in "I" statements - you rely on them to describe the main character's state of mind, their outlook on a situation, and their actions, which - while reflective of the first-person perspective - becomes repetitive and takes on an overly familiar tone that prohibits the main character's personality from shining through, beyond a general straight man build. I'd [heh] move away from that form, and attempt to explicate your character without allowing them recourse to self-reference - limiting self-identification and having them describe the world without the "I", on an "objective" level, and leaving us to interpret the trustworthiness of their statements.
This is my main fear.
Positives - otherwise, you have a great voice for the main character, and have avoided a major problem of fanfics on this general - that is, placing the characters in an "adult world", divorcing them from the pressures of media and constant interpersonal communcation for the sake of emotional clarity.
Your vocabulary is varied while remaining true-to-character, and the prose in general is reflective of an individual's perspective, not overly knowledgable about other creatures.
I know very little about mmorpgers but was quickly introduced to the world of such by your piece, and while I obviously have no real-life experience to back it, your writing seemed realisitic, like a legitimate chat group hashing out the details.
I love your art, and I'm excited to see more of your writing and your, err, drawing!

Then will say that it has been quite a nice read. I appreciate how you put the Zootopia part inside this fic (the choice of milk, the various species specific terms, the mmorpg in general). Also I like how you gave each character their unique personality and traits, and their personal way of speaking in the chat, making them easily recognizable, even without reading the nickname.
The only thing I feel the need to point out is a 'man' that escaped you (line 119).
