There are a few people who are inherently better at it than other but people gloss over all the hours of not paying attention in class to doodle in the margins and scribbles on the bathroom halls that are the birthplace of plenty of good cartoonists these days.
And not to mention all the failure that not many people show off.
I've had several people talk to me about how they'll never be as good as X or Y artist and it really racks my nerves because most of them look at what they can produce after 2 weeks of trying and then compare it to what people have been doing after 5 years of already being good, and then give up.
