If not, then all hope of Lapis having any sort of meangful interaction with CGs has been dashed. I thought the whole Lapis in Beta Kindergarten thing was just to shitpost about how she killed Baby Jaspers.

Garnet is a fusion was being very set up with some things that at first were just odd, like Season 1 you wouldn't know why she liked fusion as much as she showed it off, until you came to the conclusion she herself is a fusion, it's not very detailed at that point until the show explains it by saying she's a fusion, of love.

Also everything that foreshadowed Garnet being a fusion was pretty direct towards her, two gems opening the only room that glowed with two gems, two gems, TWO GEMS, Garnet having two varying personalities, Garnet's third eye which something like that should only be possible if it was a fusion as no normal gem has shown to have 3 eyes before that point.
Also different colored pupils which is another thing that wasn't on any other gem, but frankly all the pupils before her were too simple to make this concrete.
I'm sure there's at least a couple i'm missing but my point being the "Garnet is a fusion" theory wasn't really that distant from the truth, all it's evidence IS easily connectable to Garnet as most of them were actions seen or done from Garnet herself.
