So the shit that's left for me is crap like being garbage man, or my last job: Running orders in a warehouse with no fucking windows and someone breathing down your neck all the time. Turnover at that place was insane, and a friend who worked there got sacked after years of loyal service because he made on error while filling in for someone else.

If I could press a button to burn that place down to the ground, I would. Minimum wage is good when you're young, but at my age it's bullshit. One of my mates works a minimum wage job at a DIY chain. He's been at it for years, and apparently has zero prospects of working upwards. Lives with his mom. Recently got transferred to another store that added to his travelling time. No raise, of course.

I was busting my ass off to get a decent job, there was a lot of pressure from "authority" figures like parents, teachers and mentors, and society in general, that you should have a decent job.
It turned out that having a decent job is just that, financial stability and that's all, and even then it's not worth a damn if you have relatives that are willing to support you or welfare, because you get your roof and your bread in any case.
It was probably the biggest letdown of my life. And when I've tried to build some sort of social circle, I've met people who live with their mums and have temp jobs, ten times as happy as I was.

Risking to sound insensitive because I don't know what your current situation is, don't get stressed too much over not having a stable job as long as you're not starving and not homeless
