Break it down as small as you can.
For the head I just used a simple 4 piece sphere pattern (which you're not really supposed to do but on a smaller plush, you can get away with it.
For the muzzle thing, I actually was inspired by the muzzle on a build a bear I have that I really liked the shape of.
For the side, I literally just drew the side view of the body.
For the white belly gusset I took the length of the bottom edge of my side piece, subtracted like an inch or two, and eyeballed it to be a sorta triangle in the width I wanted.
I'm not really the best with explaining but I hope that helped! Just remember to break it all down into simpler shapes!
