Mnf, yes, that's exactly why! It's such an interesting idea, being fed and pampered and bred till he's just a tubby stud like that. They could be somebody who stumbled into that situation without looking for it, not realizing their on a slippery slope towards massive obesity. Or maybe a former hero going off the deep end with the wealth they found/were awarded and just burying themselves in hedonism. Either way there's like no other pics like that for some reason

It's a surprisingly rare theme in fat art, come to think about it. Yet it's so damn good. I'd love to see more like it, or read more of, or RP it even.

I'm constantly cycling who I'm following because I go in "ooh, ART" and then a week or two later "oh god they're spewing so much shit". Separate art and reblog blogs are always good to see.

But I follow a ton of cool people and art-only blogs, so I don't want to just leave. There's plenty of quality content, but "cancer" is exactly the right term for what is going on there.

Honestly I'm not as noble as you probably think since I'd love to make money off of drawing this kind of thing one day. If I do though I'd rather it be either commissions or a pack/book with something actually substantial in it.

Overall I like the idea of artists making money, it seems like far from the most unfair thing we have to put up with economically. It's just that there are a lot of people who act scummy with their practices when it comes to paypacks. I don't like pirating personally, but I don't blame people too much anymore for it because even with the few packs I was interested enough in to purchase I still felt disappointed with some.

Just double checked and I guess it was Fathips apparently. They're pretty good.

And yeah, I've never really been comfortable with the idea of charging monthly for stuff on Patreon personally. It seems like it could be a letdown to fans and put stress on the artist to produce constantly on a limited timeframe, leading to lower quality in some cases. I thought there was an option on the sight letting people charge per update on there but I don't really see people using it.

Not long ago I wanted to be an artist, I wanted to draw mainly the kind of stuff you'd see in this thread, but things happened...

Sounds like you might have a bit too much anxiety about what other people think maybe? The thing to remember about being an artist, especially in this kind of niche, is not everyone will like your stuff. A lot of times that isn't because of quality either.

And if I were on the other end of a bad trade I might feel disappointed, but if the other artist explained themselves personally I might understand. I wouldn't exactly say I got nothing out of it either since with every picture I do I try to experiment at least a little.

Yeah, that can be pretty annoying. Jelliroll though made two of the few packs I ever bought. I don't really care for piracy myself, but it doesn't bother me when other people do it.

The thing that bothers me the most about BBWChan's use of it is that they allowed piracy only to cling to what little relevancy they still have. They're basically taking artists work and making money off of it by shoving annoying and constant porn ads in people's faces.
