His implants and cybernetics and shit can only keep him alive for so long before it's just not feasible anymore or the equipment or his organs fail irreparably. Not like a literal countdown, but like a doc's prediction of how long you have if you've just been diagnosed with cancer, it's possible it'll be shorter or longer but it's gonna happen. The theory goes on that Glynda left him because the stress of knowing he only has so long left to live was too much, and she couldn't handle it.

Completely and utterly non-canon and wont happen, but interesting enough that i'd read a fanfic of it or somethin'.

I think I said this once before, probably in the /co/ thread way back when, but I want Jaune to get PISSED OFF.

Seriously, I don't want him to be edgy, or full paladin, or anything like that. I just want him to get angry about shit.

I want him to be angry at Pyrrha for getting herself killed and pushing him away to stop him helping. I want him to be angry at the villains, especially Cinder, for the shit they've put the world through. I want him to get slowly more and more annoyed at the fact his team doesn't and never really did, listen to him or respect him as a leader.

They've loved him as a friend, they all did, and Ruby does too now, but none of them have properly considered him a leader. Ren and Nora will instantly take to Ruby as a leader, because she's been shown to be decent at it at the very least and they still don't recognise Jaune as one. At first he's gonna be okay with it, but I can see it grating at him more and more over time. At some point later on, I want him to try and act as a leader in a time of need, possibly when they're outmatched on just firepower allowing Jaune to pull some strategic thinking, only to be met with confusion and being asked "...What are you doing?" when he tries to take charge. Then, I want him to just blow the fuck up at all of them, especially Ren and Nora, about how bullshit it all is, and how they need to for ONCE listen to him and realise he's as much a leader as Ruby is at LEAST.

Jaune really can't bitch at the others, because while he lost Pyrrha, though...They all lost Pyrrha. And Ruby lost her mom. Yang lost HER mom. Blake doesn't have a family to really go back to, and neither does Ren or Nora. Weiss is Weiss. So what gives Jaune an excuse to be all bitchy?

But as I said, his anger can flare up at times, just like you said, but it can be an internal one that he keeps to himself most of the time, knows is wrong, but can't help but feel. Because DAMNIT WHY DID SHE FUCKING LISTEN.

I for one think the next time a "Pyrrha" dies, the surviving cast is going to go rage-mode 150% on the baddies. Seeing Jaune pissed is cool - Seeing RWBY and JNR pissed and breaking bones/legs/faces in a vengeful adrenaline rush would be fucking awesome to see.
