I was 5.
I instantly thought it was a bad thing to want. The only thing I've ever really felt guilty about with vore, even from back then, was because I wanted something that would likely kill me. It's the same kind of guilty as you'd associate with suicide.
The reason I'm not too keen on fatal vore(even though I'm not strongly against it) is exactly because getting over guilt like that doesn't seem healthy, and it doesn't feel good. It's not something to try and achieve and fight against.
If that makes sense?
The part I enjoy about nonfatal is being able to let go of that guilt. Having no reasons to resist what you already want is just another bonus on top of it.

I had been having fantasies since I was young about the Return of the Jedi Sarlacc scene. I didn't pay any notice to it somehow, forgetting about them and denying them do myself until the next fantasy. The critical moment for me happened probably years later when I was about 12 or 13, playing this weird game http://www.nitrome.com/games/swindler/. Level 2, there are slime creatures that jump through the air. You can probably guess what they do to your character. It made me feel happy, welcome, and like I was going to melt, all of that. And I knew it made me feel happy, and for the first time, I was okay with it. (I didn't yet realize this had anything to do with sexual feelings.) Second best moment of my life.

Maybe around 8 or 9, it made me feel like this weird "burning" feeling, like embarassment but it felt right. My focus back then, despite the lack of media to support it, was on giantess vore, and as a kid, I'd doodle crude drawings of women in bikinis with little stick men in their mouths or in stomachs. I'd hide the drawings and rip them up out of guilt days later. Pic related is pretty close to an anon original, yes I did draw huge boobs even as a primary schooler.

Some scenes with dragon preds (Pagemaster, Hercules) were really fascinating to kid me, but as a teen and now adult, monster preds aren't my thing, but I've grown to enjoy same size and furry vore.

I drew a somewhat okay evil Cynder with (implied Spyro) bulges going down her lengthy neck. I added a lot of slimy onomatopoeia words, too... Even did some tail vore with her, 'cause there's never any of that stuff and you can't go wrong with slender preds.

If you've ever used the program you'll quickly figure out making your own stick figures quite easily. You can set thickness and length and quite arbitrarily attach anything after anything and so making custom shapes becomes very feasible. With some creativity.
So you can pretty much have a bulky but moving jaw for example, and enough movable mass to make for convincing looking swallowing. I kinda wish I still had any of that.
...I wonder if the ages old backups discs I have lying around have something on them. I'll need to attach my disc drive though, but no one get their hopes up pls.

I thought of them as the IT clown, where they have a base form but if need be, they can transform into your pred desires. That allows for more creative art/writing since there are fewer restrictions with what you can do. Let's say VC starts out as a dolphin and she eats one anon. Well since she can change into anything, maybe she could turn into a shark and attack a boat or she could turn into an orca and seduce some of the beach goers. Also, and this my opinion, personality outweighs design in an oc. Sure, they can look interesting and all, but if they're as bland as water, I'm provably going to end up ignoring them.

I always thought of mascots or chans as being less about the character and more about the community. While the proposed /vore/chan is a shapeshifter, I don't think they can completely become something else- they retain their unique design elements, while taking on a variety of bodytypes. They're still recognizable as VC, they just sport a different form. I think what people are looking for with that IS that common thread, and why many find it appealing, because it's something that the community produced, and can enjoy.

I don't think it should be the "thread mascot" or whatever, but I do think the characters are cute and I wouldn't mind them being a weird sort of mainstay here. I don't think they're much of a blank slate or uncreative, either, given that they both have pretty well-defined and agreed upon personalities so far that were born from discussion about the designs and how they'd work. If you don't like them, that's fine, but using dumbass non-arguments like "cringe desu" and ignoring the fact that both characters have pretty distinct designs despite being faceless doesn't do anything constructive for the threads.
Agreed on the cheesy anime name, but I think agreeing onna name would be impossible. I'm surprised people agreed on designs as fast as they did, honestly.

I think of shapeshifters as really gifted actors. But as with acting, there will always be tells, hints at the actual personality and feel of the actor. Let's say a shapeshifter is normally shy. They can shift and turn something that acts more confident, but they will still be shy on the inside and makes some actions betraying their true persona.

Eh, not bad, but just reading through VC's half, it needs work. Your writing voice in general is pretty inconsistent and there's a lot of typos and run-on sentences, but aside from that you gotta remember that the main deal with the shapeshifters we've seen so far is that only their shape changes. The majority of coloring and such (VC being mainly black with a white spot, oddly colored "hair", similar internals, etc) stays consistent through whatever they turn into. The way you worded the VC bio makes it sound more like she turns into a 1:1 recreation of whatever it is minus the eyes. I'd also avoid too many direct comparisons to established characters like Mefudoka.
Switching to VK, I do like the idea that you're framing these as some form of scientific analysis, but if that's the case then you shouldn't really use personal terms like "he ate me", "pissed off", starting a sentence with "Well," and those sort of things. Frame it in a more analytical sort of light, maybe take a few notes from the way the SCP wiki handles things. I'd also avoid directly calling them by "Vore-Chan" and "Vore-Kun" too, as I personally think that VK and VC work better in general, even if that is what they stand for. The last "paragraph" was also kinda trash, man.

In general, the effort is appreciate, but I think you're going a little fast and not really reading back over what you're writing, because the way you've written it honestly sounds like some teenager's really poor attempt at an SCP article. Nothing really flows naturally or makes any coherent sense, and it doesn't even work for a quick bio because of how much you've typed out.
