I have to admit, I wish you'd lay off on some of the comedic bits. Like the Dr. House thing or the CURRENT YEAR jokes. Sometimes the jokes work, sometimes I just kind of roll my eyes a bit and wish you'd get on with the main story. That's just my opinion, at least.

Thank you for the critique my friend, I see where you're coming from and I agree, that was a bit of a tangent there so my apologies.
I guess for me the humor is the main point aside from the romance but I don't claim to be a comedian, perhaps you could tell me what jokes you though worked and what you thought detracted from the story.
And on that note do you feel the story is going a bit too slowly, that I'm maybe spending too much time on their thoughts and emotions when you guys would just rather get to the point?

I guess jokes that last like, three or more lines should be excluded. Ones that are just the "narrator" telling the joke, mind you, not characters building up to a joke.

As for the pace, I like the cutesy, lovey stuff going on. I personally have no problem with it. It's better than just "Oh, they're dating, now they'll fuck nonstop" like so many lewd fics do.

speaking personally here, and not that anon: don't string jokes, even quirky ones, too close to one another or they lose impact. it stops being funny and becomes something like Magiswords where you have a constant stream of one-liners, quirky humor, references/parody and so on. maybe try to give some pause, let some of them build momentum before the delivery.

Also, it's not always necessary to describe funny situations in a funny manner if the situation or context themselves give it a comic aspect. an example being the first two lines of >>11560530 , where just describing her actions normally would have been enough, seeing as that set of actions in context gives a pretty good mental image already.but again, that's just me, and i've only read what's written itt, i have to read the whole thing to give better judgment so take what i say with a grain of salt.good stuff nonetheless.
