Are Chakats allowed in /trash/?
no thank you
They're allowed but nobody likes them
>>11548204
Qt, but no.
Taurs are neat but Chakats are just mary sue, sparkledog garbage.
>>11548204
I've never heard of this but I want to fuck it. Post more.
Taurs are so fucking dumb.
>>11548204
Don't those things ruin everything touch? Why would you try to troll /trash/ with this autism?
Get out.
>>11548204
INITIATE MAXIMUM EXTERMINATION
>taurs
Aw yeah
>chakats
Delet
What makes chakats worse than any other taur?
>>11552687
They're really speshul snowflakey and always herms. I guess the former can be avoided by simply not acknowledging it but the latter is kinda boring and they always have this aura about them that never sets right with people.
>>11552710
>always herms
Literally not a problem in any way
>>11552720
I ain't got a problem with herms but I just like to mix it up a bit, you dig?
>>11550059
this
>>11552710
>and they always have this aura about them that never sets right with people.
Wasn't it originally an aura that always made people trust them and almost certainly lead to sex? Couldn't they also breed with anything because LOLSCIENCEFICTIONLOGIC?
>>11552865
I think so. It's been a long time since I tried to read whatshisface's endless stream of sci-fi but it was a lot like that.
>>11552874
Sounds like something that should be exterminated then.
>>11552710
I like them, they're cute.
>>11552710
> always herms
But anon, this is a perk.
>>11548204
>tfw no chakat gf
why live
I prefer female Foxtaurs both fully furry or with a human upper torso like Nanabi. I mean herm foxtaurs are sexy too and all but I'm not much of a bottom or into sucking cock so her extra assets would largely go to waste in my fantasies
>>11552710
What's the term for a creature that has the base animal of a chakat (whatever creature that is) and a human torso?
Basically, what is the "generic" form of a chakat, assuming we remove the whole "must be special snowflake and also herm" requirements?
Because at least in concept, I like that. I think that's pretty neat; but I don't want the extra shit it supposedly comes with.
>>11555047
Taur, like centaur but without the horse implication. Hit it up on your favorite furry porn aggregator.
>>11555157
I guess I was hoping for something specific
Like, a taur with a horse body is a "centaur" as you said
But is there a list of "taur" prefixes or something
Also lemme just say I think it's stupid that we use "taur" to denote these hybrids as a generic considering the "taur" portion of the word is referring to the animal rather than "cen"
But that's just my autism I guess
>>11555459
Nah you just kinda search it with your preferred species and hope you get what you want. There are plenty of homemade prefixes people use but there's very little in way of "official" ones you might use in a search engine. Sorta like how werewolves are a thing but you'd find any other werecreature under the generic 'were' tag + a species. It beats having a gajillion permutations for every obscure combination I suppose.
>>11548204
I like taurs as monstrous characters. They make awesome enemies in TTRPGS with all sorts of cool attacks. One of the most memorable fights I've ever had in D&D was with a lion-taur the size of an elephant who was wielding a pike with more reach than anyone has a right to have.
But I hate Chakats. They are the embodiment of being too perfect, without the fun parts of being too perfect that elves have. While other "perfect" races are often distant, unempathetic, alien, often genocidal, Chakats are supposed to be perfectly adapted to understand others in order to seduce them. They also have an aura that makes people like them. There is no bigger way of running a race in any medium than flat out saying "it's impossible to not like them". I've even seen people who say that in-universe, those who do not like Chakats are slowly turned into Chakats. In my mind, this is the only thing that rescues the Chakat from being complete garbage. Since they have mind control powers and indoctrination methods, I can at least think of them as a horrible curse that needs to be contained but slowly eats away at anyone who gets close. They make a terrifying villain.
>>11548204
are Mantis Ponies?
>>11555894
Jesus christ
>>11548204
No, they don't menstruate.
If you remove the fire-hair and the dorky-looking wings, the Pit-lords from Warcraft would make a really neat looking taur-race. Either as sci-fi aliens or a fantasy race.
>>11548689
What's the difference between Taurs and this?
I like Taurs. They're halfway between Anthros and Feral. Adds a bit of exotism when I don't feel like fapping to anthro or feral.
>>11563535
One is just a thing and the other is mary sue snowflake material that the creator has written literally (LITERALLY literally) dozens of novels worth of cheap sci-fi about. The difference between a Chakat and a taur is like the difference between MLP and just a horse, same ballpark but there's some serious implication going on with the former. They're also really samey from the visual standpoint. Show me one Chakat and you've shown me them all. See also >>11555649
>>11563604
Oh yeah, so it's something about their background.
Well fuck them then. I prefer canine or scalie taurs anyway.
And in my headcanon when I fap, every single anthro/taur furry creature is overly submissive towards me; they consider coming in contact with my dick the highest honor here is.
I just like furry to bust a nut. I don't really care about the lore/background of any character, because they only exist to make my dick feel good.
>>11563716
Yeah I get that, s'why I don't get Sergal spergals. They're yiffy and all but I physically could not give less of a fuck about muh lore. It's not even particularly good either, it never is.
>>11557903
>>11554310
Furry taurs are also cute and look the same, but they don't have a god awful backstory and god awful worldbuilding attached to them.
They're so bad that most people will assume a chakat is just a regular taur until you tell them its a chakat.
>>11565534
Sounds like a hell of a non-issue to me. If people don't like the lore they can easily ignore it.
>>11565653
True, I typed out this post before I read >>11563716 and I totally agree with this Anon, plus I like his headcanon.
>>11564102
Is this a real thing because I don't think I can handle it.
>>11566672
I only have about 80 images
>>11567032
Yeah that's pretty weird mate. Not even offensive weird, just sorta weird.
>>11567193
there is no arguing that it is strange
I've known about chakats for years, am involved in lots of furry rp communities, and I never heard this shit >>11555649 mentioned about having to like them.
I see why it's caught on in some circles, I can tell you straight up that's just not true as far as most folks lore goes.
Hell it's not even part of the lore over on wikifur. That's mary sue bullshit.
weird
this thread has me interested

you reminded me of some old times, anon.
