as a kid I always had fascination of getting eaten but it was always monsters of no particular intelligence or humanity. going online and suddenly seeing predators talk about how they enjoy the idea of eating instead was first kinda startling and shocking because the thought of the predator party being a fully aware person instead of just a beast doing what nature dictates put the whole thing into entirely another perspective.
yet over time I've started to find the idea more and more alluring and exciting. it wouldn't be just about being an expected victim of nature, there would have to have been a clear purpose behind their actions and there would be some kind of a relationship between the two parties involved.

TotT: I can't really say when I was first introduced to vore, or how. I do however remember rewatching MIB and taking an interest in the roach eating Agent K in the way he did, then looking it up.

"Why is it called vore?" And that is how it started. I was young, made a DA account, wrote cringy vore fics, and have regreted ever doing it. All I can say is that it helped me take an interest in reading and writing.

Are you on positive terms with your parents, or specifically, your mother? and are your mother and father together, without troubles, etc?

Personally, I went through my early life with my mother and father being very disconnected, living almost at opposite ends of the country, and while neither of them liked eachother much, they both cared for me and I liked them each respectively. Sure. Somewhere in an old stack of notebooks is a short story I wrote featuring an annual festival/sacrifice where the sacrifice(s) whether they were willing or not were drugged to make them more pliable. The idea being that even if they were willing and saw this kind of death as a great honor and major boon to their families it's an extremely normal response to panic when you're looking down a throat, watching your body disappear into a hungry maw, or at the very least once you start to suffocate. Medicating prey enough to dull any pain or survival response would go a long way toward not disturbing any audience there may be or preventing discomfort for the predator so long as it's not so much the pred gets buzzed too.

It could be hard to grasp, but

Oh man, THAT feeling. I'm not even judging, but it's just that often times when I stray into reading I just end up feeling like I never want to read again because so many stories are like that.
But no, the writer I had in mind had stuff with generally pleasant or happy resolution, like a with that, although apparently in a malicious manner captures a depressed child and wants to eat them has a positive fate for them in mind, or a creature, I forget what kind, gets saved by a man and their relationship gets close until she needs to eat him in a dire situation and his trust is put to test. Or I might be mixing up two different stories, but they had very similar vibes.

I think I might be like this. I think about this a lot. It makes me feel very pleasant things. I day dream about it, think about it before I go to bed... In a nutshell, it can be so expansive, at least on the prey side of things, that it's never going to go anywhere. How much you feed it surely affects it, but ultimately I don't think you can ever get entirely rid of it.
Letting it completely distract one, like I've always allowed it to for myself, now that's up to questioning.
I don't know if I've lived my life as I probably should have, but I do know that I'd probably allow myself to be eaten if the chance presented itself. For better or worse. And the feeling certainly doesn't go down or disappear the better I feel, on the contrary. I consistently get some kind of twisted elation from the thought. Now I'm gonna have to go and process that reality, excuse me I'm gonna go stare out of the window into the night.

Oh boy, can I so relate to all this.
