You mean as a comic or as a fantasy? Because as a comic I prefer the sequence be x -> y - > z within a few pages but in fantasies I prefer them to be more drawn out. I think there should be a bit of 'body horror' aspect to it, like "holy fucking shit I'm growing child bearing hips and my dick is shrinking".

I really like 'power changing', like a powerful warrior king who regularly enslaves groups of Kobolds unknowingly drinking a potion that turns him into a Kobold female. I also like the sense of bondage and helplessness when it comes to certain TF, like even though I like TGTF I just can't get into Gillpanda's Red Chair Appointment series because all just people getting what they want
