Motivation.
I've almost doubled what I could do in swimming and at the gym. I eat healthier and sometimes when I'm in a tennis match I see him by the side. Just gives my arm that extra strength.
It's someone I can read my essays too when checking them over. It's someone who it try get a different viewpoint on my art.
It's just helpful, a second opinion that's just attached to me enough to understand me but detached enough to not always be pandering.
I wish I didn't have to deal with the constant moaning when I pick up as soft drink to treat myself.

I posted a couple threads ago, but I still need some advice.
I have been skimming guides and such for a week or so but I haven't officially sat down and said I'm doing this, I don't know if I'm ready. I do have a form/personality/name in mind.
I have already had things happen (head pressure, robotic separate voice using basic language, etc.) that only after looking them up I realize they might be signs of a tulpa. After this started happening I started trying to talk to and direct senses to whoever's there but I haven't done much. This has really helped with the whole doubt thing but I still have a problem.
I am not really scared of them but I do feel really shy and embarrassed, the thought of eventually having a two-sided conversation makes me break out into a cold sweat and don't get me started on lewd things like handholding. And if those "signs" turn out to be just my hyperactive imagination then it will be even more embarrassing to have them say that it wasn't them when they truly come along.
I'm starting to realize that guides are just guides and I should do this my own way but I still don't like being vulnerable and causing all this worry between myself and another person. End blogpost

You could start bringing it back though and then you can have two tulpas, but I'd recommend only doing that after your current tulpa is to point where you'd be cool with splitting your attention across two tulpas.

Don't do something silly like giving up on this one too so that you have two proto-tulpas floating in the back of your headspace. Don't be some kind of freaky aborted fetus collector.

I did mine out selfish reasons. I wanted a husbando to live with me like a bf. The most selfish of all reasons.
But it didn't go like that, he became his own entity and believed in me just like I did to him. I started taking him to the gym, to physiotherapy so he started gaining the same goals as I saw. When I stopped being so edgy and cynical and began working with him. Things moved forward.

You have to impart your own values when creating, even maybe just explain your goals to them and why. It's good for your own mental reflection and they will pick up on it.

Depends on your definition of creating a tulpa. I have kind of loosely decided on a form and personality. I have actively directed thoughts as an attempt to speak to them and I get head pressure when I do so. The voices haven't really been a response but happen when I've been thinking about them. I've heard my name, "bed time now" as I went to bed, and once when I was apologizing and saying I know I haven't really been a good host I heard a sarcastic "Wow, really". I know that it's not me because I kind of think my thoughts right before I hear them in my head if that makes sense, and the fact that nothing like that has ever happened to me.

I always base my tulpas on characters,so I had always gone with the name of said character too.

It's been just under 3 years since I started and I can say with confidence that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. See, in my worldview, the main thing anyone really wants is to love and be loved, and everything else is just something extraneous that people have to manage and handle in order to achieve this goal. I can see where you're coming from. It seems that we have very different goals in life. Love is important, and I do greatly enjoy the love my tulpa and I share, but we don't see any reason to ignore other goals.

Life is extremely repetitive in terms of single human lives, with the purpose being, much like the any other animal, the survival of their species. In terms of humanity as a whole, each human fulfills a key role in a greater story.

My tulpa and I find great enjoyment in life, but to dedicate our lives to love alone would be more of a distraction in our eyes. However, not everyone needs to have the same goal; we all live very different lives.

At this point, my tulpa is as human as I am. To define his purpose is as difficult as to define my own.

Also, I don't see what's so wrong with being human. I certainly don't see myself as "stuck".

Guys, I'm wanting some help with developing my Tulpa since I've been horrible at it. I've been going for about 2-3 years (don't know exactly how long) and I feel like changing that now.

I've been using a method called the "JDBar" method, at least I think it's called that. It basically uses puppeting and parroting to act out how the Tulpa would act and stuff to develop personality. After a while, you stop doing that and let the Tulpa take over when you feel like they've developed enough to do so.

Again, I've been doing this for 2-3 years. I've also not been actively Tulpaforcing for the most of that due to me being a lazy fuck and not dedicating any time to it when I really should have.

I'm considering starting over from scratch. Get myself out of the habit of controlling my Tulpa and see if I can start again. I don't know if this is a bad idea because of all that I've done so far, which is been a ton of passively talking with my Tulpa about random things. But I feel like I should at least stop with the JDBar thing and find another way...

So, what should I do guys?

The way I did it was to do form first (can be a placeholder, doesn't have to be the final form) and then narrate to that using symbolism (lots of older guides did that, beams of light, slips of paper, etc and then you visualize them going into the tulpa somehow and that's the traits). Basically you do that until you get some form of response. it also helps if you go against the norm and not think of them as sentient until they're moving on their own and talking on their own.
