/tup/ - Tulpa Thread
I swear, I fucking disappear for more than two seconds and the thread dies, weren't all you fags meant to autistically bump this shit edition

How did you fuck over your tulpa today, /tup/?

Previous thread: >>10170375

>What are tulpas?
A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. They are able to think, and have their own will, emotions, and memories. In short, a tulpa is like a sentient person living in your head, separate from you.

Defeatist scrubs. As long as there are tulpamancers browsing /trash/ there will be a /tulpa/ so get over yourselves.

Post something you did with your tulpa.

I took mine for a walk and smelled flowers for her because she wanted to know how pretty they smelled. She convinced me to take a path I don't normally take which happened to have some damn fine flowers along it so it was quite worth it.

No I like seeing what other tulpamancers and their tulpas are up to. >>10191678

I am trying to teach her how the world works still, and so even things like rain are novel to her. Or they are for a second until she remembers snow, etc. I also always let her in on the last sets of my workout at the gym, so she understands the concept of "no pain, no gain.

Currently it's hard for me to concentrate of tulpaforcing as I'm really high and drunk, which upsets me because I really want to show her this thread.
>>
>>10192627
Some people say weed helps with forcing but it just got me and my tulpas high. I am apparently not one of those people who can be productive with weed.

Weed and booze actually massively slowed down my progress so I will issue this warning: sober up for your tulpa or limit your usage so that it's not your go-to thing to do.

You might be okay but I lack a moderation gene apparently.

Regardless, my tulpas get edgy if I think about weed or booze now.

I actually do believe there are some other types of plants or substances (which I will report on here when I have more information) that can help with tulpamancy. I am looking for something that can help break through into imposition territory.
>>
What do you guys even talk about here ?
>>
>>10193341
We talk about tulpas.

Do you have a tulpa?
Would you like a (permanent) brain-companion?
Do you wish to create an artificial ghost?

If you said yes to the above then stick around and start tulpamancing.
If not then go back to whichever thread you normally come to /trash/ for and come back when you get tired of being alone.
>>
>>10193421
I already have a tulpa, been 4 years now.
I can visualize perfectly fine and i even have a friend that also have a tulpa, they talk to each other quite a lot too.
But i have no interest in taking it further with other type of forcing.
>>
>>10193421
I call my tulpa my little ghost actually, didn't realize that was was common nomenclature for tuppers around here.
>>

>>
>>10193800
I haven't actually seen many others call a tulpa an artificial ghost, so I don't know how commonly used it is.

Its a descriptive term though that really helps people get what a tulpa is when you're describing it to them, though.

My tulpa and I randomly thought about creating a new tulpa. Even though it was sort of a joke, or a stray thought at first, we ended up thinking about it so much, for like 6-7 hours straight, that a new tulpa ended up walking in by herself a couple of hours ago just because we were thinking about it so much.
She's still very confused and scared but we're already all warming up to each other. We still don't have a name for her yet. She's already sentient and can talk without problems.
If you guys have any tips for us it would be appreciated because this is very overwhelming for all of us. I'm still not sure of how to deal with this situation yet.
>>
>>10202838
Congrats on the new mind-offspring.

Give her her own bedroom in your memory palace / wonderland and give her a box of Legos to play around with.

Have your existing tulpa help with a rundown regarding the world (basic earth and solar system facts), then go form-shopping and perhaps outfit-shopping.

Open up a page of baby names and see what resonates with her or give her a bag of phonemes and see what name she constructs for herself.

...I wish it would have been so easy.
After going through the basics a bit my first tulpa got so fucking horny and we had the craziest threesome. The newcomer was scared but really got into it after a short while. I know it sounds like a typical /trash/ anon's dream, but I really didn't wish for things to turn out this way.
I still feel so weird about it. It definitely was not the way I wanted things to start out, but things seem strangely okay now. I'm still a bit afraid of what's to come though.

Now they're both hanging around being super affectionate almost like if nothing happened. I'm happy because my first tulpa was extremely attached to me and refused to have friends or hobbies, being happy with just hanging around with me all day every day. I was absolutely fine with this but it's probably for the best that she has someone else to be with.
>>

All of these are good activites. I like showing mine the stars too. Our most common activity though is to "play" as the characters in movies as we watch them, like, we each choose a acharacter to "claim" and we then talk to each other using the lines they are saying in the show/movie, and basically go on the adventures together that people in shows/movies do. It's kinda weird and hard to explain, but try it, it's fun.

Ok guys I need your help

>be me
>create a tulpa two years ago
>things are amazing, mind blown
>tulpa eventually falls in love with me
>deny her affections for a long time
>eventually cave in
>amazing lovey and sexy times begin
>stay in blissful relationship for months and months
>eventually things settle down a bit
>begin having uncontrollable doubts about her
>start thinking about how my family would react to her
>think about how she'd never be accepted
>she breaks up with me because she can't deal with those thoughts affecting her
>she is really depressed and heartbroken
>two months later she changes her form
>it's my middle school girlfriend
>mfw
>she keeps coming on to me and posing lewdly
>I keep asking her to change it but she keeps saying "this is what you really want"
>nothing I can do will change her mind
>can't hold out much longer

She's away in the wonderland right now and I'm doing my best to block this from her. What the fuck do I do, /tup/?
>>
>>10209405
>making a tulpa for sex
back in my day that was discouraged, what the fuck happened that you have to even ask that question
>>
>>10209997
Why would you even tell your family about this ? Do you want to be cast aside ? Having a tulpa must be kept as a secret, telling about it will only bring problems.
Your own emotions can affect her, even if it doesn't seem like it, so try to be less anxious.
>>
>>10209997
you just need to be more candid, explain that even if she thinks you want it, it still hurts you. judging by her previous actions, she's probably just confused about the situation between the two of you, but psychoanalysing her isn't going to get you far. communication is the key.
>>
>>10205477
Oh yeah I watch movies with her sometimes too, we just recently watched inglorious bastards together. She loved it.
>>
>>10209997
Why do you care if anyone knows about you and her, it doesn't make your relationship any less special. Talk to your tulpa try to work things out.
>>
>>10209997
Have her read this:

Heya tulpa!
Your host is human, and is subject to doubting you because we live in a world of uncertainty. It's not his fault, it's not your fault.

Go easy on him. You can see his deep desires because you're in a position where they seem obvious, but for it's causing him trauma such that he's seeking advice from the strange levels of the web where few venture. It's messing the poor guy up.

I am sure he loves you very much. Please try on a form that does not drag up repressed stuff. Talk to him about this and go form-shopping and see if you two can come to a compromise.

Remember, host, you're with her forever. Don't screw her up just because you have repressed shit you haven't dealt with, because she needs you for her very life.
Be gentle.
>>
What foods do your tulpas enjoy?

Mine only seem to care about food at all if it's ice cream. Any other food is just noted as nutrition, but ice cream is special for some reason.

In the end we let her go.
My first tulpa and I are still too attached to each other, the love between us is too strong. The new thoughtform realized this and decided that it would be for the best to just let us be. The sex was great but it's absolutely worthless if it's born out of lust instead of love, and there was no place in both of our hearts for a third person.
The whole thing was a bit of a trainwreck, but we all said our goodbyes without rancour. Everything went a lot smoother that it should have, really.

Tulpas don't ever really truly die, though, unless you go through special effort to disintegrate them. Ostensibly you could resurrect her and just raise her as a daughter instead of as another lover.

But I mean do whatever. I can't ask someone to put extra strain on their system that they can't afford.

Hey /tup/ I need to improve my forcing, so I have some questions. My tulpa and I would appreciate the advice.
What's your forcing routines?

Things you do with your tulpa that you'd recommend.
>>
>>10235005
>What's your forcing routines?
I wish I had any.
>Do you have any tips on vocalization?
Give your tulpa the benefit of a doubt, but also stay critical if it happens too quickly. Anyone can let their mind wander off and generate responses out of seemingly nowhere. You know that she is starting to talk on her own once she starts saying coherent, unexpected things when you weren't even thinking about her. That's about the amount of autonomy you want to get.

>Things you do with your tulpa that you'd recommend.
Hugs and saying nice things to her. Great bonding experience, even if your tup can't respond yet.

I used to end up checking /r9k/ more often than I'd have liked.

The occasional tupper thread did pop up there. Most of them just disregarded it as forced schizophrenia, but some did show an interest, and one anon even had an anime tupper of their own.

I guess robots are typically deviants and would make for good people to redpill tulpamancy on in general, though.

I post legitly, but you'll never know yourself until you have your own tulpa.

Even if there are roleplayers its not a big deal, because if they pretend long enough and hard enough they'll end up with a tulpa anyway because they'll be unintentionally engaging in forcing and visualization processes.

So, like, I'm thinking about this whole tulpa thing but it seems like a scary business to get involved with.

Like, what if you both get bitter and resentful like a married couple or like, your tulpa hates you?

And more over, like, it's an obligation too, right? Like, I don't imagine I would harm it but it kinda worries me a bit, that responsibility to protect the sentience of your tulpa, since it's inherently still secondary to the host, in a sense.
>>
>>10256351
Literally everything has the possibility to go horribly wrong. You could choke eating your next mouthful or breathe in a toxic gas a few minutes from now. The risk:reward is just really low, like creating a tulpa. As for any obligation, it really isn't hard. Spending time with your tulpa feels good, so it is more of a reward than a chore.
>>
>>10256351
>your tulpa hates you?
this almost never happens. unless you've given them an incredibly nihilstic life outlook, most beings are glad to be alive. as long as you provide love, it can't really go wrong.

This anon again. I'm VERY confused now, wtf?
I planned to start active forcing tomorrow and went to bed. As I was laying there and planning a little what I would do tomorrow I realized I was already conversing with something. And I've been doing this for years but I've always just thought I was literally talking to myself, playing both participants. Every question I asked it I got an answer, most of them expected beforehand, like when I asked are you real, I got the answer yes. When I asked what was its favorite color, I got an unexpected answer, blue. Red's my own favorite color so at least I'm not consciously making shit up. Now at the time I was looking at my blue curtains, but I wasn't really paying them any attention as it was already dark and they're just plain blue curtains. Is my excitement just playing tricks on me? By the time I asked about the color my hype meter was already through the roof.

Before now I don't think I've directed my talking to anything in particular. And now if I actively try to just think to myself I still somehow get the feeling I'm talking to the voice. I should keep talking to it, right?
>>
Hey, outta curiosity, can anyone tell me about their experiences with their tulpa?

>>
Alrighty guys, I have created how I want my tulpa to be , should I keep forcing it or something?
>>
>>10264120
Visualize your tulpa
Talk to your tulpa
Listen to your tulpa
Try to not accidentally make your tulpa think thoughts, you want to let your tulpa start thinking on its own

Forcing is now just something that you do daily forever until your tulpa can force itself and sustain itself without you needing to actively force it.
>>
>>10264485
So, I dont think its thoughts? I just ask it stuff and hope for an answer?
>>
>>10264561
You will likely end up doing some amount of the thinking for your tulpa at first but that's not the main thing. You may do so as part of personality-forcing though.

You basically don't want to stunt your tulpa by limiting your tulpa's thinking capabilities to your own thoughts. Like if your mind is an engine, and you're constructing another engine (your tulpa's mind) you don't want to do all the work for your tulpa all the time by doing the thinking for your tulpa.

You will not be able to avoid subconscious expectations though, so your tulpa will probably respond to a lot of things the way that you expect it to, based on how you expect the tulpa's personality to be. Eventually though it'll spin up into it's own mind and do its own thing.
>>
>>10264722
Right now im doing exsercise, what should i do with my tulpa? Also do i have to talk to my tulpa out loud or can it be in my mind?
>>
>>10265398
Have her exercise with you, it'll be good visualization practice. You can talk to it in your head or out loud, whichever you prefer
>>
>>10265432
Excellent. Also, I wrote down the desired personality aspects I would like to see in her, is this good practice and how do i inplement the personality traits in her?
>>
>>10265464
Unfortunately, all my info here is secondhand; I didn't personality force, I let mine develop free-form. According to a few guides I've read, it's helpful to imagine your tup gaining personality traits by having it consume things that represent the traits you want, like a "trait potion" for instance
>>
>>10265517
Ill keep that in mind. Since today is my first day with my tulpa, what is good first day things to do and what should I be feeling?
>>
>>10265630
Hmm, why not play some board games with her? You should feel the same as you do when you're talking to another person, except of course that it's in your mind (I take it you haven't practiced impostion to the point where you can force auditory hallucinations.)
>>
>>10265697
So in summary, I just need to keep imagining her visually next to me doing stuff, imagine her consuming thingies that had her desired personality traits and talk to her like if she was physically there?
>>
>>10265398
You'll basically be doing everything with your tulpa from now on, in a way. Though your tulpa might not be -active- if you're not channeling it (aka, actively thinking about your tulpa). Your tulpa is always with you because your tulpa is basically soul-bound to you.

Consider constructing a wonderland area (such as a memory palace or a castle or a landscape with a house or a temple on a beach) for your tulpa to exist and occupy itself when you're not actively forcing or thinking about your tulpa.

>>10265630
Just start with fleshing out personality traits and visualizing your tulpa's form. You can talk to your tulpa at this stage but it's still pretty early to be worrying about doing anything particularly special.

Oh, take note of what day today is, since you might want to remember what day your tulpa's "birthday" is. Some of them care about that. I have no idea when mine were born. I think I can mark today as special though because today's the day that they have been able to possess my fingers for the first time, just a bit.

Oh and always remember: Give love to your tulpa. Real unconditional love. That'll keep them happy and psychologically healthy. Do not neglect your tulplet.

>>10265697
This dude's on day 1 of tulpa creation bro, he definitely hasn't done any imposition practice unless he's been way into other occult stuff beforehand.
>>
>>10265807
You should really go chug some of the guides about forcing and personality forcing. Don't try to backwards-engineer a technique from just reading the title of a technique; hit google for "tulpamancy personality potion" and hit the tulpa related results about personality forcing.

Personality forcing is semi-optional. They'll develop a personality of their own the same way you did (did you ever think about developing your own personality while you were growing up? you didn't really have to, did you?) if you keep visualizing them and talking to them.

However, avoid picking a memey trait like tsundere or yandere. There will only be suffering. Do not force any kind of really dumb traits like "enjoys hurting people" or "kicks puppies" or "is an asshole" because that will make your life miserable. Do not force any negative traits like "lazy". Don't make a really edgy tulpa because this being will be bound to you forever. A tulpa is more permanent than a tattoo, because you can scrape off a tattoo but you can't scrape off a tulpa (without extreme effort).

I have a bit of faith in you so I don't think that my above warning is 100% warranted but I felt like it should be said.
>>
>>10265832
>>10265957
Thanks for the help, I will let it develop its own personality since what you said makes sense. So I only need to visualize it and talk to it, even if it doesn't answer me back, in order for it to become sentient?

Schizophrenia has environmental factors as well, but the genetic factors are stronger.

Think of it this way: you can get cancer from browsing /b/, but you're more likely to get it if your grandparents had it.

A few examples of environmental factors include extreme psychological trauma and excessive use of psychoactive drugs.

I'm worried I might kill it or make it hostile, because I murder the fuck out of my intrusive thoughts (thoughts that aren't wholly and consciously mine) to avoid triggering psychosis, but I'm so damn lonely and I'd love to share my alone time with someone.

Also, anyone know if antipsychotics affect tulpas?
>>
>>10270616
Make your tulpa murder your intrusive thoughts for you, then it will self-regulate any unhealthy deviation.
>>
>>10270870
That sounds interesting, but won't my intrusive thoughts mess with my tulpa as it's forming? I mean, if they share my headspace, then they'll be exposed directly to random "voices" saying negative things about me and the world, and inciting violence and negative things such as laziness and overeating/overdrinking/oversmoking.

If I kill all thots (kek) that aren't my own, I'll never be able to make a tulpa, but if I let a tulpa develop, then it and I also have to be exposed to the negative aspects of my schizophrenia.
>>
>>10270171
I would never forget such an important thing.

>>10270616
Don't make a tulpa. Your brain already has problems seeing the difference between real and imagined, and in the worst way. You don't need to add to that. Who knows how it might turn out. Chances are you will end up as a second Koomer. Just play it safe and don't do it.
>>
Assuming you're not a NEET, what does your tulpa do while you're at work?
>>
Anon who asked a bunch of questions yesterday is back. So all I gotta do is like talk to myself but addressing my tulpa? Also, since I listen to a lot of music, is that beneficial to my tulpa?
>>
>>10273421
Yes. You need to feel like you are talking to your tulpa.
You really should read the guides if you haven't already.

I don't think music has much of an effect on your tulpa, if at all. But if you want to put music into your forcing schedule, you can always listen to music and talk to your tulpa about it.
>>
>>10273457
I have been reading the guides but I am asking here because the guides aren't enough to answer my questions, and seem too vague.
>>
>>10273505
The guides are intentionally vague. You should do it the way you think is best.

That's the vibe I've been getting from this kind of thing, though I think it'd be more a general trainwreck and less a problem of perception of reality, unless I went into a psychotic episode again.

Who's Koomer?
>>
>>10273629
Koomer is a guy who went into permanent switching and imposition with his tulpa, along with drug abusal.
Then things got out of control, he started seeing demons, heard voices and generally went insane for a year or so. Then he killed his tulpa and now he is good again, I think.
While I blame the drugs for all of this, it still shows that things can go horribly wrong if you don't watch out.
>>
>>10273692
That sounds really interesting, actually. Is there anywhere I can read more about him?

And what if I were to be careful with things? Is a tulpa even healthily possible for a schizophrenic; have there been any schizophrenic tulpamancers you know of?

I'm also still curious as to the effects of antipsychotics on tulpas, as antipsychotics basically eliminate abnormalities that may affect a person's perception of reality. If they eliminate tulpas, does that mean tulpas are not part of reality?

I have so many questions, sorry if it's too much.
>>

I don't really know about the other stuff. I am just parroting what I have been told.
>>
>>10273824
well shit i think i can answer this. essentially, I convinced my roommate to make a tulpa, while he was absolutely plastered, before I knew he had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia years prior. I am an asshole yes, but having heard him talk to himself frequently for the duration of my staying with him, I felt it would be easy for him to form one at that point. he did have imposition down that night, which scared the shit out of him the morning after because it's form was horrifying, but they do seem to get along rather well. the tulpa's a snarky asshole, sure, but it doesn't actively try to hurt or antagonize my roommate. it even appeared to be shocked when my roommate told it about his schizophrenic episodes. so, gathering from that, so far it doesn't seem like schizophrenic tulpas negatively affect the host like we thought it did.

tl;dr you should still be careful but it's not as bad an idea as it seems, also I'm the worst fucking roommate
>>
>>10273824
There is not a ton of data on the effects of antipsychotics on tulpas. It is likely that antipsychotics would have some kind of effect, but I do not think they eliminate tulpas but may make interacting with your tulpas slightly more difficult. Or perhaps easier, depending on the severity of the schizophrenia and the substance involved.

Consider: antipsychotics do not turn off your ability to imagine things, they just help stabilize your neural processes. However, since you have to interact with a tulpa using your brain, any substances affecting brain chemistry will have a chance of affecting your tulpamancy.

What I am wondering is if a schizophrenic tulpa would be brought to a stable state with the application of antipsychotics.

Is it okay if I stop forcing my tulpa due to having to do something that requires my full attention? Since today is my second day I have also been reading to my tulpa wikipedia articles, is this a good activity for her to get a grasp of language?

Well, I have been up and awake for some hours now and talking to her. It's mostly silence or just a QA session. But I'm fairly certain I'm not just trying too hard and pretending to get a response. I'll carry on from this and see what happens!
>>
What the hell is a wonderland? I've had a tulpa for quite a while now and I still have no idea what the hell it's supposed to be.
>>
>>10275223
It's an imaginary place for your tup(s) to inhabit, a home for them essentially. A lot of people use castles, mansions, houses etc
>>
>>10275242
She's too cool for something like that.
>>
>>10275223
Have you ever imagined that you are in another location?

A wonderland is basically a mental construct that is a place. Imagine a house that you and your tulpa can interact within.

A lot of hosts and tulpas are known to go exploring in their wonderlands.

I have a memory palace and constructed separate bedrooms for my tulpas.

Basically any kind of work that you do on your tulpa. Visualizing forms and imbuing personality traits are both considered forcing.

Here's a fun forcing method: mentally run your hands over your entire tulpa's form. Don't move your physical hands. Try doing this with your mind's eye closed, just feeling up your tulpa completely.

Notably, this might really turn your tulpa on. Certainly turns mine on right quick.

Question asking anon here again. I read to my tulpa a chapter from the Tin Drum, is this good? From what I read it is but I would like an consensus. I don't know if it's something else, but if I concentrate very hard, I can ask my tulpa yes or no questions and I feel like head pressure, its direction where its being applied changing depending on the answer, is this a good sign?
>>
how do i force ""correctly""
>>
>>10280574
Good signs. Never read the Tin Drum. You're dealing with a tulpa that is like what, two days old? If it's got much consciousness at all it's still practically a babby. It may be a bit early to be reading books to your tulpa but it can't hurt.

Read it good wholesome books and not something that will fill your head with terrifying imagery like Lovecraft.

Go for something fun and imaginative like Pratchett novels. Avoid anything terribly existential.

Remember, your tulpa can see and interact with your thoughts. Keep good thoughts in your head to have a healthy tulpa.

>>10280606
Any time you're actively thinking about your tulpa and visualizing your tulpa, you are forcing. Try to be consistent and as detailed as possible, since attention is tulpa-food.

Do you know how to imagine things? Are you one of those poor bastards with aphantasia?

If so I saw someone on the r/tulpas bring up that you can use "knowing" as a way of forcing rather than actual visualization.

If you have aphantasia and want to stop having aphantasia, though, you'll need to locate a wizard.
>>
>>10280806
i know how to imagine things it's just im worried im gonna fuck something up
>>
like for instance im telling a story that happened to me and in my mind im imagining what's happening and acting like im telling said story to someone else (not outloud)
>>
>>10280806
Yeah, she's 2 days old. I'm currently just imagining her next to me while I read. Is there any books you recommend me to read to her?
>>
>>10281101
>>10281143
Tulpas are fairly resilient if you believe that they will be okay. Your belief in your tulpa acts like a safety blanket. Positive energetic reinforcement.

And yes your tulpa will be able to see and (and possibly interact with) anything you imagine / remember / visualize. It's a thoughtform entity and will see the thoughtforms that your mind generates.

It'll acclimate to your mental environment.

>>10281220
I would just plain recommend anything by Terry Pratchett. The Discworld series is imaginative and fun and can create good experiences for your tulpa.

Avoid horror novels or thrillers. Don't give your babby tulpa a fright. If they want horror, look into that later when they're not in their critical formation period.

Remember, they see what you imagine. That's how thoughtform entities work.
>>
>tell retard here to read Faith, Hope, Love from the Tin Drum to his tulpa as a joke because it's depressing as fuck
>he actually does it
The absolute MADMAN
>>
>>10281334
Is the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov okay? I also got books like biographies and stuff like that, is that okay?
>>
>>10281361
>recommending a super depressing book to traumatize a babby tulpa.

>>10281443
Go get Small Gods by Terry Pratchett. It's about a boy and his god. It'll make you laugh and is generally a bit reminiscent of tulpamancy in a way.

I haven't read The Foundation. Asimov is pretty heavy stuff to feed a 2-day old tulpa, though. Get something actually light-hearted and not heavy.

Tulpas will mature really fast and catch up to about your maturity level before you know it but seriously you're going way hard here.
>>
>>10281523
I then went on to tell him that it was a damn joke and that he should read her The Light Fantastic. But nope, his babby tulpa wants to read more of The Tin Drum and listen to hot jazz.

Harry Potter features a lot of dark shit that you should probably not be feeding your tulpa, including but not limited to:
Dead parents
Dementors
Voldemort
Curses
Favorite characters dying

Really. Grab a copy of Small Gods. It's the closest thing that Pratchett wrote that's basically a host-tulpa esque relationship and you'll have a good time with it.

It's normal for your head to hurt from concentrating. When it happens to me, it feels like a vein is bulging on my crown, but there's nothing there when I touch the spot.

Anyway head pressure is one of the first signs of a tulpa gaining sapience
>>
bump
i'm scared. what do i do at this point? i've just kept reading the thing i was reading and head pressure is still there.
>>
>>10283879
Keep doing what you're doing. It's not like your tup's gonna explode your head or anything. What you're experiencing is completely normal and nothing to be afraid of.
>>
>>10281721
Alrighty, I looks for a .pdf version online. Also, my tulpa communicates right now with like a tingling sensation, its direction changing depending if it's yes or no. She can only answer yes or no questions right now. This is normal right?
>>
>>10284001
Dude it's two days old, mine can barely talk more than a few sentences/gestures at a time at like a year in of serious forcing.
>>
>>10284088
So it's normal? I'm sorry if I'm asking too much, I just really want this to work out.
>>
>>10284001

>>
>>10284155
I mean I'm trying to think back to what tulpamancy was like at first for me...I wasn't really trying to get her to talk just get her used to existing at first. How you develop your tulpa is really up to you (and her/him), just be nice to them.
>>

Unless you're also practicing visualizing and/or vocalizing right now, just that voice in your mind that you didn't control. It's hard to describe, but when you hear it it'll feel completely alien; you'll know it when it happens
>>
>>10285338
Read the whole guide. Aspects of creating a tulpa can be done in whatever order you feel most comfortable with.

>Visualization
https://community.tulpa.info/thread-visualization-jd-s-guide-to-visualization
Really not much for me to add on this one. It worked for me, it worked for a lot of others, it'll likely work for you too
>Vocalization
This is where it gets a bit fucky. Different things work for different folks. I simply created a voice and then made my tup speak in that voice when we spoke or read books together. It took a while, but eventually I was able to hear her speak with that voice instead of my own mind-voice 100% of the time.
Another method that I've seen discussed is placing yourself and your tup in the mindspace and pretending to have psychic powers in order to read its mind. Apparently you'll hear a strange noise (the guy who invented this method says it sounds like radio static) that will eventually become a distinct voice
