The only truly unwatchable episodes of the show are "Onion Gang", "Future Boy Zoltron", "Rocknaldo", and "Gem Harvest"

"Onion Gang" was pointless, and tried making us sympathetic for him in a way that removed his strangeness. Plus Steven was way too dumb in it, the art was bad, and the concept of Onion and his friends playing pranks around town was way mishandled.

"Future Boy Zoltron" was plain hideous, unfunny, and unnecessary.

"Rocknaldo" was an okay concept, but felt like a flatline the whole time. Nothing really happened to make it exciting in the least. Something like them actually going on a mission and Ronaldo fucking up, and then blaming it on Steven and them easily would've bought the episode from a 2 or 3 to like a 6. Also, remember when the description for the episode leaked and we thought Ronaldo was gonna meet the Barn gems? lmao

"Gem Harvest" was an ok concept too, but the art in the first half is awful, and Andy being conservative was painted on way too thick. This might sound weird, but I feel like it might've functioned better as 2 episodes rather than 1 double length? Granted, I would replace the whole first half, personally, but the concept really isn't that bad.

Well now I can see why you don't see the actual shitty conflict of that episode, it was the parent vs child trope episode and the child won, but it was done poorly, and no one developed from it at the time, it only took 3 seasons for a NOTICEABLE thing to happen and that sucks ass.
Sadie's Song is terrible for the other reasons but it's shitty structure as an episode was the worst part about it.

Did you try it with other episodes too? I seriously think Onion Gang would be improved a lot if they played pranks using magical items found at Steven's with Steven initially wanting to stop them, then joining them and then letting it get out of hand.
