This figure was so fucking good. One of my favorites of the entire ToyBiz run, even if I didn't care about the character at all. Really nice sculpt and articulation and just a joy to pose and play with.

It's pretty amazing that it was retooled from Man-Thing, cause the shared parts between the two are almost unrecognizable aside from their builds. Also, sorta unrelated, but I think this Man-Thing is one of the finest sculpts Toy-Biz ever did, and it blows the new one out of the water in my opinion. The key is variety--there are so many different textures and details going on here, and the new one just has too much same-y grass-looking texture.

Look I'd prefer it being 100% comic accurate too, but as far as the marvel One:12s go, this is easily the best besides Punisher. No Daredevil pads, no weird misshaped head like Spider-man, lines aren't too superfluous(and thank FUCK they didn't go with the original concept's interpretation of the tigerstripe as straps. Jesus.) I just hope they learn from this; Marvel has a wide and active live action universe to draw "realistic" designs from, ones they're also doing. My DD has a little bit of a weird arm, but other than that he's pretty great once you get used to his range of motion and general appearance, one of my personal favorite Legends.

Elektra is also pretty good all around, but her ponytail/hair piece popped off the masked head right out of the box and the other one feels a bit loose as well. Really love the paint on her, too, great likeness to the actress.

DESU if they just did a couple of assortments of core Joe and Cobra characters in 6" scale as a premium release along the lines of the 40th Star Wars figures they'd probably pull a profit. And they could totally reuse molds from Marvel Legends figures to kickstart it. Nuke could be turned into Roadblock, parts of the Netflix Punisher could Be converted to bits of Duke or someone, and Elektra/Mary Jane/Jessica Jones could be a good start on Scarlet and Lady Jay. Not saying that extensive of mold re-use is a great idea, but it's probably what would happen.
