Holy shit, this thing looks AWESOME.
Is Action Toys a good brand? Never had anything from them.
What are some other good retro-style robots with extreme amounts of articulation? I know about the Sentinel Gorg but RIP my wallet.
If you like Daitetsujin 17, you should check out World Scope's figure that came out last year(?). It's about 12", great quality with diecast in the feet. They also made an 18 that's pretty great, too.
You can find each for about US$130 from some Honk Kong sellers.

Yeah, I saw those while Googling around for more info on the Action Toys version. Looking at the World Scope version, that one definitely looks familiar.
What is the consensus on it? Seems good enough to pick up for $130.

These look great but 130 dollars? Fuck no.

Why not? They're 12".
The Action Toys versions of Machine Robos have some retro designs to them.

I got Rod Drill and Tank Robo for cheap, and they are not too bad. Tank Robo in particular has a nifty transformation that all locks together nicely. They could've done without the diecast though.

Are Action Toys and Fewture the same company?
I had pic related toy when I was a kid
articulation sucked, all it can do was stand still and move arms. only thing cool was the combination.
can't justify to pay over $400 to get a toy from my childhood
there is a Mechander Robo toy coming out looks cool. hopefully one day well get the flash king

Good luck getting one now.
Considering how much the GX-50 goes for these days, you might as well go the extra mile and get the upcoming DX Chogokin.
