Hey /toy/, I recently bought these McFarlane guitar hero guitars and I must say I'm having a lot of fun posing toys around playing their instruments. Right now I'm looking for a cheap Drumset, but it's not easy to find. I've been looking at Ritsu Tainaka figures and there's some pretty cheap stuff on mandarake, like a banpresto kit and a mobip, I was wondering if anyone had these figures or any other and could tell me how big the drumset is, since I'd need it to be in scale mostly with Jojo SAS and Revoltech figures.
Also post more Music Instruments you can get for cheap!
TL;DR: Help me find a roughly 1:12 scale drum set

I also have this coming in the mail from rakuten, can't wait to see if it's any good.
>>6467275
>>6467277
I have both these types of guitars and they're a lot of fun. The F-Toys one will make you hate the McF ones though. The quality difference is huge.
My drums are from the Ritsu figma, but there's always pic related

Right now I'm looking at some broken prize figures on yahoo japan, which would be perfect if I only knew how big they are.
>>6467275
If you can find it cheap somewhere, figma ritsu has a drum set that scales nicely with SAS and revoltechs.
>>6467305
Yeah there's a bunch on mandy for 2.5k but it's a bit too much for just the drums, perhaps I should be looking for a broken one or something like that.
ok so this looks cheap as shit, perfect. I just hope the size is right
>>6467275
I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume these are 1/12, right? I've somehow never heard of them before and google's not being helpful.
>>6467389
that's correct
>>6467275
Where'd you get them from?
>>6467277
These are fantastic. Have fun with them waiting for them to release the bass variants.
>>6467293
Like this anon I found a cheap used figma ritsu and the piano player for their instruments. Also check out dollhouse suppliers where I found a saxophone and other accessories.
Pic somewhat related.
Mic is from the revo Krauser II from DMC which was 5 bux on mandy.
I was just about to post this in the photography general when I saw this thread.
This is the drum set:

And this is where I got the keyboard, when it was hugely discounted on HLJ:
https://www.amazon.com/Resurrection-Monstress-Mask-Phanteana-Figure/dp/B000TIITL0

I see that the Amazon listing doesn't have a front view, so this is what mine looked like originally.
>>6470090
Also, I made the drumsticks by sticking a piece of a bamboo skewer into the chuck of my Dremel and using an emery board to lathe it into the right shape. All of the figures (except Nene on the keyboard) are using earthquake putty to hold their instruments, which looks really obvious here.
Define cheap as shit. The figma goes for as little as 2.5k yen and your not stuck with a worthless statue.
>>6470087
Damn those accessories are pretty sweet, might have to hunt for that figure
>>6470189
I'd like something around 1k. As for being stuck with the statue I don't really mind, I'm currently looking at an auction for a broken one so it'd be really cheap, I'm really just concerned about how big it's gonna be.
Just found this up for preorders on amiami.
I'd get it but I only want the keytars and maybe amps. I don't usually buy this kind of stuff, any chance they could be found later on individually?
>>6472840
Yes. One of rakuten stores probably will sell this set apart. "Toys kingdom" or something like that, sorry cant give you link right now.
I got a few Odoria 1:12 scale instruments, they're a little pricey but nice quality. This piano is also a music box which is kinda neat. They're a little small than most figures though (especially Star Wars Black Series, I had wanted to make a stormtrooper band); the guitars and violin I have work pretty well but the piano could stand to be bigger.
I also have the drum set that came with that anime girl Figma, it's really cheap and mine's falling apart without having really done anything with it. All the pieces pop back together but it just feels really flimsy.

Got a link? I want everything pictured.

Bump for interest.

there you go, not muche else too see

I just ordered a 1:12 alto saxophone for my Optimus Prime. Now he'll be the leader of the Alto-bots, Altomus Prime, with his sworn enemy Mega Bass of the Da Capo-cons
Prize figures are like 1/10 - 1/7 scale, way too big.
Mobip and figma are kinda floaty between 1/12 & 1/13 ish. So they'll scale well with figma or SHF bit will appear a bit small with American spandex figures, whichbiirc SAS is closer in scale to?
Revoltech scale is all over the place.
I like the build of the Mobip drum set better, but the thing is essentially a BAF. You need all 4 girls to complete it. The figma comes as a complete drum kit, but it's a bit more fragile.
>>6470087
what figures are those?
>>6479068
Bubblegum Crisis figures by Atelier Sai from 2006.
>>6470063
What figure is that in the purple suit on the right? Kind of reminds me of David Bowie
>>6483024
SAS Kira Yoshikage. The white variant looks even more like David Bowie.
>>6470087
I really wish they'd re-release those BGC figures, or release some new ones. I didn't get them when they were out (I am full of regret) and now they're hugely expensive, especially for their small size.
>>6470063
How are you gonna incorporate Funny Valentine when he get's released.
If you go with the diamond selects animal drum set, know that the pieces on thin posts aren't very stable and you'll probably need to improvise your own seat for whatever whetever figure you put behind it.
>>6489499
Is that a lightsaber hilt being used as a microphone?
>>6486676
I plan on buying 3 possibly 4 depending on the immediate aftermarket price. Which reminds me I need to retake this photo since I have a fuckton of better accessories now.
